Great staff ! We came in without a reservation but they put our names down and had us come back in half an hour, which was perfect with us. I had the duck duo and my guy had the lamb shank. The duck breast was delicious. I only wish that they had given us sharper knives, haha! For some reason it seems that Harrison Hot Springs lacks sharp knives?!(our breakfast place the next morning had the same problem] My waiter recommended a Sauvignon blanc/Semillion which pair well with the duck and the sauce. I wasn’t crazy about the other choice of duck but The breast made up for it. My guy had Irish cream Stout to drink which was delicious and I am not a beer or stout drinker.

Ate there on a beautiful evening this week, sitting on the deck, facing the lake. It is pricey but delicious. The rack of lamb, the special of the day, was fabulous, tender, cooked to perfection — medium rare. Excellent service. Highly recommended!

Well decorated and nice music and lighting for mood. Menu was the best in town. Only selection with flair and class. Service and food prep exceeded all expectations and we are discerning diners. We had a great meal here. By far the best in town. A real treat. Thanks guys!

After a soak in the public pool we headed to Morgans restaurant. A recommendation from the locals proved to be the right decision! We ordered the lobster appetizer, tomato bisque soup, and to end the meal a decaf espresso and crème brûlée. Everything was exceptional! The tomato bisque soup was so flavorful and hearty. You can definitely tell they used fresh tomatoes in a light cream with a perfect amount of cheese. The lobster appetizer makes me drool just thinking about it. With fresh flavors of butter, lemon, chipotle and salt they melted in my mouth. Served with a side of freshly baked soft bread. Perfect for soaking up the rest of the lobster butter. The perfect end to a perfect meal: espresso and crème brûlée. Topped with 3 fresh raspberries the crème brûlée was served slightly warm. Finally a place that serves warm crème brûlée. Highly recommend this as a stop for your Harrison Hot Springs dinner. Music and ambience was also great dim lights, fresh flowers, candlelight and a variety of jazz songs set the mood.

Pretty pricey but DEFINITELY worth it! The escargot is delicious, a must-have. We also had a seared ahi tuna with lemon basmati(catch of the day) and a braise lamb on top of moist mashed potatoes and beats. Be careful though, the menu does not list prices. Perfect portions.

What a good surprise to find great food in a new town. While visiting Harrison Hot Springs, we walked down to Morgan’s for dinner. For a starter, we had the duck paté. Excellent. For the main course, we had perfectly cooked, wonderfully fresh halibut. The accompanying vegetables and rice were likewise excellent. The gentleman that served us suggested a wine to my wife since we were unfamiliar with wines listed that was a wonderful accompaniment to the halibut. Service was good and the price for the quality of the food was also very reasonable. Any time we are back in Harrison Hot Springs, we will eat at Morgan’s. Highly recommended.

Great food, slow service, relative high pricing, but value for money. Dishes are made up in an fusion style and portions are size wise well chosen. Nice environment and relaxed atmosphere. Good music choice. We would definitely go back!

We went here for dinner and apparently eight people was too many for them to accommodate so we walked away. Figured it would be easy to find another restaurant. The owner rushed out and said they were so busy and could not accommodate us because«This is the most popular restaurant in Harrison Hot Springs. The food here is superb thats why we can’t seat you.»…okay cool that doesn’t help us. Comes back okay we have room for you… lol okay. They sit us down in two different tables of four. I sit down and turn to the right and I’m immediately disgusted, as there is a horde of sand flies chillin on the wall… A foot from my face! Ew! Should’ve left then. Order our food…20 minutes pass…30 minutes pass…40 minutes… no food. Every time we ask the owner how much longer she replies with«Oh your food is being plated now.» We were told that 3 times… Not only that but not one time did a server come and check on us! We had to ask for water 4 different times! Finally our food comes and its soooo bland! No flavor in any of our dishes. Either they rushed cooking our food or that’s how their food is always done! Horrible and not worth the price. If they were too busy then they shouldn’t have sat us! Horrible service and flavorless food. Don’t waste your time coming here.

Overall probably one of the better places to eat in Harrison. That said, it’s just average in comparison to what you can get in a larger city. The service was excellent. Prompt, genuine, friendly– all the things you’re looking for. The food was O.k. I had the chicken burger. Chicken was cooked perfectly but the bun was a bit stale. Side salad was boring– a plain vinaigrette with tomatoes, greens, radishes, and red onions. Was missing some crunch– nuts, seeds; and cheese, something savoury. Husband got the beef burger and was totally disappointed. Burger is previously frozen– despite being 17 $. It was so hot we figured it had been microwaved but the server said they sear it first and then bake in the oven. It was totally over done. Bun was mostly stale. For the price it’s not worth it.

Fantastic food and friendly staff! My girlfriend and I had the spaghetti and meatballs(gf said it was the best spaghetti she’s ever had!), the braised lamb(amazing!) and crème brûlée(very good). We gave our compliments to the chef, who also happens to be one of the owners, and he came out to talk to us. The waiter was nice and let us take a rose on the way out. Will come back next time we are in Harrison! Will also recommend to friends.

Beware the scam. Outside menu lists lots of wonderful dishes(shot ribs, lamb shank, etc.) but inside they’ve disappeared — the short ribs replaced by a tiny piece of pot roast. Told the outside menu was a «sample». Sleazy, dishonest bait and switch dump.

I had an excellent experience with this restaurant ! The staff was helpful and actually delivered our food to our hotel room next store. It was a slow night. a Monday and as our hotel had no room service and we had an anxious dog. the staff agreed to bring the food to our room. This was one of the best meals ever!!! We ate on our patio, watched the sunset and ate a delicious Lamb Shank with all the fix’ns. Thanks so much for this magical experience and the super awesome food.

Four of us came down for a dinner tonight and we were dissapointed. 1. We reserved a both but upon arrival we were told the both was unavailable. Although there were two boths that were just seated! 2. We ordered 2010 wine but got 2011. 3. Three of us ordered a special of medium rack of lamb but were brought rare. 4. I noticed the smell of bleach from my knife that put me off. 5. The staff was not interested in service: the wine was never topped up, eye contact was not there at all, the owner seemed to be not intetested in business and what’s going on around her. Other than that the company was excellent!

This is an excellent dining establishment and heads and shoulders above any other establishment in the area. I knocked off one star because of a few minor mishaps and loose edges that I don’t expect in a restaurant of this quality. Dress code is all over the place. Since this is a resort and vacation area, they do welcome guests in shorts with kids, etc. But if you are dressed up for a night out, the place is elegant so you won’t feel out of place. I actually like the dress code though because it works for the location. There were only 2 people working the front of the restaurant the weekday evening that I dined here. At first it was only one guy and he was the bartender + hostess + waiter. I got the impression that he was primarily the bartender though. He looked like he made some good drinks. I saw him making a mojito where he was hand pulling mint leaves from the stems, an ice tea type pitcher that he was making with all sort of spices and leaves, etc. At 6:20pm, the place was mostly empty inside but the outside tables were all full. The bar was a little messy with a bag on one of the chairs, a laptop on the bar, and an empty 24 pack of coca cola cardboard + plastic on the top of the bar(as if they just got back from Costco). The messy bar took a little bit away from the elegant nature of this establishment. I overheard the bartender tell another table that Morgan wasn’t here today so oh well… would have been nice to meet her. At around 6:30, the waitress arrived for work. She was acceptable and did her job and there really wasn’t anything to complain about but it would have been nicer if she was a little more relaxed and friendly. She told us the specials. We ordered the bread appetizer, duck liver pâté, caesar salad, spaghettini w/meatballs, halibut, and rib eye steak. The waitress explained that they didn’t have the short ribs tonight but made it with a beef tenderloin instead. When I asked for her advice on that vs the rib eye, she recommended the rib eye. I always like when a waitress is willing to work with you on recommendations from the menu, etc. The waitress took our order but for some reason she couldn’t find a pen that worked. The first pen didn’t work so she walked back to get a second pen and that didn’t work either. I am not sure if the 3rd pen worked but each time she got a new pen I had to repeat my order which was a little annoying. I couldn’t help but notice a cup full of around 20 – 30 pens on the table though. The bread appetizer was good and the bread had a nice hard edge with what tasted like parmesan and salt. The evoo + balasmic plate was fine. It was only $ 3 but I thought for $ 3 they should give you a full loaf instead of the 8 cut pieces or so that were there(maybe about ½ loaf worth). It took about 40 minutes for our food. I’m actually ok with this as one of the things that this tells me is that the cook probably makes each dish to order and doesn’t pre-make anything. In that time, I saw another table of 3 people come in and all 3 of them ordered the same thing… spaghettini w/meatballs. After about 20 minutes they started complaining about the wait asking where their food was. The bartender guy told them«they’re just plating them now» and then it took another 15 minutes or so after that for them to get their food. I saw another group of 3 walk in, get a booth, get their water, get their menus, and then sneak out a few minutes later. My only guess is that they felt that the prices were pretty high. The menu is a little disorganized and the mains start with the Halibut for $ 30 on the top. The organization of the menu should be a little better with some lower priced dishes on the top so that they don’t scare away folks like that(or maybe it’s better that riff raff get scared away). Maybe they should put a menu outside if they don’t already do that. The halibut was excellent. The portion was good, the rice on the bottom was cooked well with a nice hint of lemon. The vegetables surrounding the dish was a good variety of carrots cooked multiple ways, asparagus, sweet potato, etc. Overall an excellent dish and winner of the night. The rib eye was also excellent. My wife and MIL eat their meat well done and only in the past few years have I gotten them to loosen up a bit and order their meat medium-well. It was cooked medium well with mostly no pink. The cut was good. They offered this dish with a choice of mashed potatoes or polenta. I would have preferred the polenta but my wife isn’t much of a foodie so she wanted the mashed. The mashed was mediocre… potatoes a little dry and hard, etc. But the steak was the star of the dish and it performed well. The spagettini was excellent. The pasta was cooked al dente and the tomato sauce had a nice hint of spices and fresh chopped garlic. The meatballs were hand made. The liver pâté was forgotten(or not written down). It came late but it was good… but didn’t stand out.

Excellent in every way, except one. Stewart, please get your hands out of your pockets when interacting with diners. You are sending conflicting messages of friendly relaxing fine dining, but the hands in both pockets is perceived as a bit sloppy and nonchalant. Nice suit, but get rid of the hands in the pockets, please, please, please. Ok, that’s out of the way, now to the review. Excellent. Perfect choice for celebrating hubby’s birthday, and only steps from the hotel we’re staying at for the weekend. Fabulous view looking out to the sunset beach. Hubby’s halibut was tender and tasty. My tenderloin was truly melt-in-your-mouth, and far superior to Vancouver’s Kobe Steak House which we visited recently(fortunately on a gift certificate, not our dollar.) Along with the main, we both enjoyed roasted fresh veggies, and their homemade cauliflower polenta. Morgan’s lived up to our expectations, and we’ll definitely go there again. So glad we made reservations earlier in the day, for a 5:30 p.m. seating, as by the time we arrived, their reservations were full until 9:00 p.m. We can see why. Great food, ambience and service.

Ate here again this past weekend to celebrate our 18th anniversary. We came here because we had such an awesome experience the last time we were here(last Fall). And they didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere is warm and romantic. The service was excellent: helpful and attentive without being smothering. And the food is to DIE for! Other than for dessert(which was scrumptious!) we had all specials for appetizers and entrées. And they were SPECTACULAR. Morgan is a doll. And Peter, the chef, is a magician! His food is sublime! Can’t wait to go back!

Super great food and really nice manager. We were admiring a bottle of Mexican lime and chilli flakes they used in their caesars and he gave us the bottle as a free gift. I would definitely recommend this place!(Ps. The portion sizes are huge!)

We went to Harrison Hot Springs for our friends birthday. This place had huge reviews so we made reservations for October 14 for 7 people. When we arrived, on time, we were not greeted right away. A female server or someone that works there was sitting at the bar chatting with someone eating. She didn’t approach us right away but she looked at us. After she showed us our table, she told us our waiter would be right with us but went back to sitting at the bar. We waited for a bit and then a male server came out. The female sitting at the bar told him his table was here. He proceed to look at us and roll his eyes. At that point, we told them something came up. The female server said fine and that was it! And by the way, there was maybe 5 people in the restaurant so they weren’t swamped. I look forward to never going there again and telling all my friends!
