Was recommended this place, so thought we would try it. Had to wait an hour for the table, and another hour for our food. So by the time we actually got out of the restaurant, it was 3 hours later. The food was worth the wait– around 4 or 4.5 stars for sure. We ordered the bacon wrapped scallops which were divine and really well cooked. The pork back ribs were also really good, and came right off the bone. Also tried the barley risotto with lamb sirloin and it lived up to all the good reviews on Unilocal.Overall, the food here was amazing. But if you’re coming on a holiday weekend, be prepared to wait hours.

Excellent food. The lamb was so tender and delicious. I totally recommend this place. Service is also good as the staff is very friendly and chirpy. We ate all our meals here during our stay at Huntsville. I would like to thank Jeff for being a great host and also thank you to Tracy for her excellent service!

We came here for Monday breakfast. It’s $ 14.95 for an all-you-can-eat market style breakfast, and totally worth it. They serve you your choices of food straight out of the kitchen which is nice because it’s always hot, and no need to worry about other people touching the food like at a buffet style and customizable. Your choices of breakfast items include: pancakes, french toast, waffles, bacon, ham, sausage, strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon, customized omelette(made to order), and potatoes. In past reviews, I read that the service was so-so, however on our breakfast here, it was great, the waitress was very pleasant and always around to remove empty plates when people went for seconds or thirds. I’d recommend this place for breakfast definitely! The day before, we also came here for a late lunch(around 3:30PM). We were craving burgers and salads but were given the dinner menu because their lunch service had ended. We asked the waitress(a different waitress then Monday breakfast) if we could possibly order from the lunch menu and she checked with the kitchen staff that lunch items were still available, and just like that, we got lunch! Burgers, Salads, fish tacos and all! We enjoyed her good service. The burgers were great, tacos were good, salad was good, fried calamari was good, and we were happy campers!

Excellent Sunday brunch! Cheese omelette was light and delicious, bacon was crispy, whipped cream on waffles was… uh…whippy. very reasonably priced for all-you-can-eat(food is so good you’ll only have a plate and a half before you can’t eat anymore). Only ‘negative’ is that their coffee and juice were only OK, rather than being as amazing as all their food.

We visited with friends who enjoy very good food and we were not disappointed. I had the 3 meat bbq, brisket, chicken and ribs which is easily the best bbq I’ve had. My wife hates chicken breast as it is usually dry and overcooked but this was excellent. Our party also had the lamb shank which was excellent. The sides were fresh, full of flavour and nicely seasoned without excess salt. Our servers were attentive and friendly. If you want really, really good food in Huntsville this is the place to go to!

I happened upon this place while coming back into the city from a camping trip. initially my friends and I were going to eat at the Butchers Daughter, but they wanted a little more of a sitdown restaurant and 3 guys was right next door. The Unilocal reviews weren’t great, but seemingly people were mainly complaining about the price, and I usually find that as long as the food is good, then the price doesn’t matter as much. The price seemed on par to a Joeys or Earls in Toronto, so it didn’t seem outrageous. but maybe for that area, it can be considered expensive. I’ll break it down further below. I ordered the Crab Cake burger, my girlfriend ordered the sausage on the bun, and we both had the calamari to start.(As I write this, I just realized after looking at the menu, that the sausages everyone at my table ordered didn’t have the fried onions on it! And I do remember seeing other tables get that on their sausage. I just dropped my review down a star as a result). the tandori calamari was tasty, and different then anything I’ve ever had before. the batter could have been crispier, but the overall taste was ok. the dish was $ 15 though, which is definitely overpriced for what it is. One of my favourite calamari dishes is from Pizza Liberetto, which is $ 12, and is much much better. So really, this dish shouldn’t be more than $ 9-$ 10. The walkerton sausage(that should have had fried onions) was very tasty and the side coleslaw was ok. I can’t stop thinking about the missing fried onions though… I love fried onions. worth $ 15? definitely more so than the calamari. but missing the onions is unforgiveable. My crab cake sandwich was also pretty tasty. It could have used a little more sauce to add more balance to the burger though. It’s supposed to have a banana curry purée, and sundried curry yogurt, but I couldn’t taste it. For $ 16, it’s not too bad. It definitely needs a bit more refinement though. one of my friends also ordered the risotto that by the look didn’t look right. Risotto should be somewhat creamy in texture, but it looked too seperated, so something wasn’t done right there. I didn’t try it though, so I can’t rate it, but I know by the look it’s not pefectly well done risotto. So, in conclusion, the food isn’t terrible. It’s also not spectacular. There are details here and there that could be made to justify the price, which although isn’t astronomical, not on par with what you could get at comparable restaurants. I put 2 stars for the missing fried onions, but it’s really a 3 star restaurant, that could be a 4-star if it pays a little more attention to detail here and there.

I started with a glass of the Yealmans, Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealnd to start. A very nice light crisp and fruity wine from the Kiwi land. Then came the summer Bbq special. Brisket, ribs, chicken breast with bone in, potatoe salad, cucumber, and tomatoe salad, and outstanding coleslaw. Well, well, this meal was absolutely outstanding. The meat was covered in a home made BBQ sauce. Um um good. The salads were just as good. I finished the meal off with the Nuttart with homemade salted Carmel ice cream. Got to come here! I’ll be back.

Outstanding. I had their new bbq special platter. Amazing. My wife had the risotto with shrimp. Again, outstanding. At the table, we shared a couple of ice creams and chocolate cake for dessert. Very good. Service top notch. From hostess, bartender, waitress to checkout(credit card processing) comedian, all great service Highly recommend.

What could be better on a cold snowy February evening in Muskoka, Ontario? If you said«a nice hot stew» you would be thinking like me! There are many stew options(along with other comfort foods) to choose from on the inviting menu. It was a tough choice, but I went with the East Coast Seafood Stew, choosing the curry base as opposed to the traditional base. I was not disappointed! Ample amounts of scallops, shrimp, and mussels along with roasted veggies, and, surprise, baked banana chunks still in the peel. Delicious! I washed it all down with a local Muskoka Cream Ale. I shouldn’t have, however, the description of the Baked Nut Tart served with butterscotch whiskey and smoked almond ice cream and Muskoka maple was too much to resist! Two thumbs up! Atmosphere was warm and inviting and service was surprisingly good considering there was only one server and a conference just down the street. Price was a tad on the high side for the beer and dessert, but the entrée was fairly priced. Would have been nice to get a free coffee or small discount for checking in on Unilocal, but maybe next time ;-)

Atmosphere was nice but food lacked flavour and was overpriced. We had the falafel, Moroccan meatball and sausage on a bun. The sausage was half decent but everything else was disappointing. We will not return.

My wife and I went there for dinner on August 2014. The good: food was good and fresh. We recommend the shrimp flat bread, mushroom risotto and the pork ribs where the pork just slid off the bone! Profiteroles as dessert were excellent also. The bad: we didn’t have reservation and ended up waiting 1h at the bar and finally eating at the bar after the waitress told us we will have to wait another 40min to get seated. The quinoa was over cooked, crab cakes were so so and the vegetables which came as a side for the pork were nothing special.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner here and left thinking that this restaurant serves great food! I tried the Mediterranean salad, mushroom risotto and the white fish. I especially loved the risotto, and the fish was really fresh and well made. I wasn’t a fan of the quinoa side that the fish came with but it was still good. It’s not a cheap place, but the quality was there, the portions were generous and the menu was varied. I would return if ever in the neighbourhood again.

The marche style breakfast is glorious! Those were the best waffles with fresh whipped cream, Chocolate sauce and strawberries. The baked beans were in a really yummy sauce. The eggs and bacon and sausage were done perfectly. Lots of fresh fruit too. Our server, Michelle was super friendly, and the cooks at the serving counter were very helpful.

This restaurant is packed during the holiday season, with many businesses treating their employees to a holiday dinner here. Every work related Christmas party I have ever had has been here, and each one was memorable. The food is a great quality and the atmosphere is unique for the area. Right as you walk in you are confronted by this massive sizzling stove where the cooks move like clockwork preparing food on it. The only drawback to this place is the price, which is why I didn’t give it five stars, but it is worth it on special occasions.

Had lunch here with friends over the weekend. We were staying a cottage on Lake of Bays and decided we’d had enough of kicking back and relaxing, so we opted to make the 25 minute drive in(it was snowing outside and we were in a sports car) to try their lunch menu. The place is cute and it was refreshing to see the chef owner acutally working the kitchen. The cocktails we ordered were delicious! We had the 3 Guys Sunrise… very tasty. For appetizers we started with their Spanish Horns… very tasty lamb filled whole wheat tortillas served with sour cream and salsa. We followed this up with their soup of the day and the crab cake burger. The soup was really good, but the crab cake was very disappointing. It was very mushy and almost flavourless. A couple of my DCs also ordered the pumpkin and sweet potato soup and the tandoori calamari, both of which they enjoyed. Service was speedy and the prices reasonable. I’m giving it 3 stars because the ‘main event’ the crab cake burger fell short.

This place is pretty expensive for what you get. The food is decent, my favorite was the crab cakes. The BBQ ribs were also a pleasant surprise. I ordered the barley risotto for myself, and honestly, barley will never make as good of a risotto as rice no matter how hard you try. I took off one star for the price, another star for the vinegared wine that I had. Really? That’s for cleaning pipes!
