First impressions: Their floor was a disaster. I get it. It’s winter. Customers walk in with somewhat gritty boots. They got a big wet mat in the doorway which helps… Sort of. The floor in the bathroom is dirty and gritty –crunchy under foot as was the rest of the café in the seating area. I was there in the morning and unless they’d had a herd of elephants roll through the place, it clearly had not been swept up from the previous days trading. Espresso Coffee: I’d heard that the coffee was terrible, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Thought I’d try something a little different and ordered a Macchiato. It’s a shot with foamy milk on top. Their shot had boiling hot water in it for some reason. A watered down shot :(with milk foam. I had to wait for it to cool down. My friends latte‘(a hard one to wreck) was equally as piping hot –almost too hot to handle. Ended up not drinking our coffees and just left them there in protest. Treats: Feeling peckish, I lashed out on an Apple & Cheddar muffin. I knew it was a mistake, ridiculously sticky to handle and super sweet — the frozen type I think. Final sum up: The setting is nice. The front of the building has a very pretty look. It would be a pleasant place to sit in the summer, but don’t order an espresso coffee.

Had the waffles and the western sandwich with a caramel cascade. All is delicious and greatly satisfying. I just wish they would drop the price a bit! All in all, good brunch!

Amazing Muskoka coffee! I love the berry salad and their house made maple dressing. They have a cute patio out front and sell locally made jams, chutneys and dressings. The staff are so nice and knowledgable!

Great little coffee shop ambiance. Its a great place for coffee, desert and chatting. They have a breakfast and lunch menu. Even though the food is very good, I’d prefer a real diner for breakfast. Also unfortunately both black coffees my wife and I had(one dark and one medium roast) were lukewarm(black coffee is kept in carafes). Have breakfast or lunch elsewhere, but stop in for desert and coffee.

A great coffee shop on Main Street in Huntsville, the coffee is fresh and comes from Muskoka Roastery right down the street. There’s a really nice patio out front, and a great selection of coffee, tea, jams, local ice cream, and awesome looking pastries to go.
