Prices are sky high and I had a full basket… asked the lady(owner or manager) for a sample of fudge and I could barely see it when she handed it to me — maybe 2 mm. MAYBE. So lame. Try to engage customers and have them wanting to buy? Especially when the next day I spent $ 53 at the Candy Shoppe. #prettywomanmoments

I’ve been going to this candy store since I was a child. I love their fudge and icecream, and typically love their chocolates. They are a bit pricy however, and the truffles I got last night were a bit stale which is why I only gave them three stars. The variety is great, with lots of imported candy, and old style brands that are hard to find. It is worth a visit if you find yourself in the area.

Vibe is «old fashioned chocolate shop» on Main Street, where chocolates are hand made, hand dipped, with real ingredients. For instance, they make the caramel that goes inside the chocolate, then dip it in chocolate. Same with home made sponge toffee then dipped in chocolate. Liqueur chocolates available as well as of course truffles, and anything you’d expect to find in a bonafide chocolatier shop. Lots of selection, in the display cases when we were there. If you’re in a hurry they have pre-packaged options as well. Prices reflect hand made chocolates, so expect well over $ 1+ per piece, but you’ll be savoring each one… not popping them mindlessly. They have other locations as well, such as Guelph, North Bay, Peterborough, and the Beach(es) in Toronto It was a GREAT find! :D Looking forward to going back.
