Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I was incredibly disappointed with this Enterprise location. I have rented from them twice and honestly was prepared to write a review about how great their customer service was. However, after dealing with a damaged vehicle I’m wary to rent from them again.
I returned a vehicle to this location after hours in perfect condition but unfortunately something happened to it by to in the 48 hours until the location opened again. Even though the car was damaged in their lot, I understand that it is in the terms of rental that I am technically still liable for any damage until they are able to inspect it. My first question was «do you have cameras in your lot?» and the answer was no. The person I was talking to then proceeded to tell me about a story about how one time someone keyed all the cars in their lot and they still technically had to charge the people who returned the cars even though it was obvious it had happened in their lot. That obviously didn’t make me feel any better.
I contacted my insurance and found out what kind of paperwork I needed from Enterprise to file my claim about a week later. The person I spoke with was friendly enough but didn’t end up sending me everything I needed. I replied to her email but heard nothing. I waited a few days, emailed again: nothing.
Over the next few weeks I called multiple times and spoke with a number of staff members. Every time I would ask them for the paperwork and I would be told they would send it by the end of the day. It never happened. Finally I made one last call and told them this would be the last time before I inform my insurance company that they are being uncooperative. I was told they would look into it and get back to me asap. Of course I naturally got the papers I needed later that day.
The thing that bugged me the most wasn’t that they weren’t sending me the paperwork, it was that they never returned my calls or emails. Even if the response had been «we don’t have that ready yet» I would have been satisfied. Very disappointing.
