Came here with my sister. It was delicious and they looked after use really well. It was relatively quiet which was nice, I think this was because we got there about 6pm. I had the baked brie for starters. They gave us half toasts and half nachos which was nice. For main I had the blue cheese steak — Medium. It was SOGOOD! I had the twice baked potato to accompany, delicious. I only ate half of each and I was full! So I took the rest home to enjoy the next day for lunch. It was just as yummy the next day. My only complaint(which is aimed at all Kegs!) would be that I find it odd that these places don’t have any men working front of house, just woman. I think it would be nice if there was a mix! Hence, Keg you lose a star.

I have been here three times. The food is good but the drinks are somewhat lacking. I think it may be the experience of the staff. They all seem really young. I don’t think they handle groups that well as our service was much better for two people rather than 6.

Wow. What a great restaurant. The hospitality as with most Keg restaurants is great. We had an amazing waiter Kalki. Goodness gracious I hope you all have the pleasure of being served by this guy(he deserves 10 stars) so polite, so intuitive always showing up at the right time, never lingered too long kept the conversation light and flowing, gracious, kind and attentive. The flow of food was perfectly timed never waited too long for anything. Bottom line the Keg has consistently good food and you can pretty much count on that. The building is lovely(albeit a little difficult to find for us out of tourists) the only thing that stopped me from giving it a perfect score is that the building is 3 floors all connected by a tight spiral staircase with the main dining room on the 3rd floor and the washrooms on the 1st floor both my husband and I went down and back up a few times and we both got dizzy on the staircase. That’s unfortunate but all and all we had a great night and would recommend this place.

So completely impressed, here for Fathers Day and the food was fantastic and the service was awesome. Took a bit to get the food but it was worth the wait!

Another bar/grill tour took us to the Kamloops Keg for supper. The upstairs dining room was full, or so they said, so we sat in the lounge. The food was great and while our waitress was slow to start she did pick up partway through the meal. She seemed rather harried at first and a bit distracted but she smiled at the right times and laughed at my lame jokes, all you could ask for in a server. I had the rib steak and my wife the prime rib. Both were done properly and very tasty. Portions were large, to go with the prices, and the bacon wrapped scallops were awesome. The location sucked, rather the signage that led us to the door. The building is a heritage building and hidden behind some condos. On the whole we enjoyed our visit and we left stuffed and with the«meat sweats». I’d do it again.

Worst waiter, almost funny how bad, we knew the people at another table with the same waiter and they got to wear the appetizers without apology! The food was mostly good as the keg food usually is, the calamari was cooked to carbon though. Our waiter just forgot all server etiquette as two of us are former Keg employees the service was inexcusable, from having to ask for cutlery, taking our butter away several times plus being loud and aggressive, then it got worse… I hope the Kamloops Keg can up their game and read the handbook.

We hit this place up while visiting Kamloops, arriving right around suppertime. Not wanting to be the company that shows up right at a meal, we looked for a nice steak place, as my wife had a craving for meat. We turned to Unilocal to find a place that hit the bill, and The Keg came up(I also discovered how little Unilocal is used in Kamloops). If you’ve been to a Keg before, you know what to expect in terms of the food. The location is great; it appears to be a trendy little area with a bunch of condos surrounding it, and it’s close to the river(and a train station). Our meal was great, and the service was okay. A few times I found myself with an empty water glass, and no sign of the server. Nice location, good food, decent service — if I find myself craving a steak next time I’m in Kamloops then I’ll probably head back here.
