Tim Horton’s

Was in Ottawa to help my twin sister move when hunger struck. I ordered their new chicken sandwich, and it tasted exactly how I thought it would. Another unimaginative, uninspired and severely DRY sammich from timmy ho ho’s. This sandwich will cut your gums on entry if you’re not careful. If you should happen to grab the sandwich by the chicken patty and NOT the bun, you might cut your fingers. This is an item that shoulda already been available 10 years ago and it’s just too sharp. All they did was slap some super basic sandwich ingredients together and charge a whopping $ 4.99. You’ve got to be kidding me. As a chicken connoisseur, I must express my disappointment and ask, who is approving these new menu items? It’s like the formula for selecting a new item is:1. look at McD’s menu 2. Copy 3. Give it 40% less flavor and 4. make it 40% more expensive. Oh yeah, and how come no one seems to care that the prices vary on the tea sizes? It’s just extra water people! At $ 5 I feel like there should be a special sauce involved or ANY sauce for that matter. You can get three junior chicken sandwiches for the price of this whack chicken sandwich. Not impressed. 3 stars! Oh, and the washroom was not very clean either… probably.

This is a fairly large Tim Horton’s location, on everyone’s way into work in Kanata; it gets very busy in the morning, and at lunch, too! People gotta have their coffee and donuts!
The drive-​thru lines look horrendous at times, but they get everyone through surprisingly fast! Same goes for the lines inside.
Free wifi is a nice touch!
