We had a bad experience here. Went for dinner and drinks at 7, were told at 10 that if we didn’t pay a $ 10 cover that we had to leave immediately. Had just ordered another round of drinks that we had to pay for and leave untouched because we weren’t interested in paying the cover. The service was good, and the food was a $ 5 menu type deal. Just wish the cover charge and rude bouncer could have been dealt with in a more professional manner.

Yes. YES! YAAAAAAAASSSS!!! Now we’re talkin’. Originating from Montréal, I loved going to Irish pubs and, of course, enjoyed delicious better-than-average pub food. This place gives me a little taste of home every time my boyfriend and I go, but even manages to take it up a notch! They have a killer $ 5 food menu, just watch out for the add-ons as those are expensive, but if you’re like me– you won’t even need any. Their selection is great, with so much to offer and such amazing quality(soups, salads, wings, poutine, burgers, sandwiches, and more… you name it!), and their drink specials are bangin’ too. The service is spot on, there is plenty of room in the pub and on the outside patio which gives you a nice front-row seat to the ever-bustling and happening Bernard street. I simply love this place, and I have no doubt in my mind that you will too!

Came to this bar with about 30 other friends. Overall this bar is a trendy funky little gem. Dj Blackout played such a mix of different music & kept the dance floor packed. Bartenders were quick & informative about how to make any drink that was ordered. We even had a server near the end of the night that kept us hydrated. I would definitely come back for a girls night & a good time.

Funky pub with character on main street. Very tasty burger — try the bacon jam! Quite a limited menu restricted to your basic pub fare but what they make is really good. Good service, friendly and fast.

Had dinner and some beers here last night and it was a pleasant surprise! Good selection of local beers(only 5.50 $ a pint on Thursdays for the Tree beers which are made right here in Kelowna!). Tried the curry porc burger because I thought its originality deserved a taste: wow! Could’ve used some more toppings like fresh cilantro or lettuce but the spices were great! Barrel aged peach cocktail was another unique and delicious local treat !!

We were here on a Tuesday night. It took a little while for the server to come by with the menu after we sat down, but that’s ok, we were there watching TV. Hubby order the baron of beef dip and I order the Chasmar burger. Wait time: About 15 minutes from ordering our food. Taste: The beef dip had a nice charcoal taste and the dip was delicious. The burger tastes really good as well. Portion: Enough to get both of us full! Yes, it is a bit loud and rawdy, but I find that I like that kind of atmosphere for a pub.

When we are staying in Kelowna, we usually try to get a pint or two in here. They generally have several selections from Tree Brewery on tap, as well as some other decent brews. We’ve had some good times here, including a memorable afternoon chatting with some regulars at the bar & watching CFL.(I also have bad memories of Andrei Markov ripping up his knee during the playoffs, but that isn’t the pub’s fault!) However, I’ve never had a great meal here(generally just OK), & the place is an overrun frat house on Fri & Sat nights. There also can be a lack of attention to detail, like on my most recent visit when the accessible washroom was partially blocked by a folded up outdoor sign — not very accessible! If I could give half stars this would be a 3 ½, but since I can’t, I will stick to a 3. I will definitely be back, however!

We came here twice: once on a Monday afternoon and again Tuesday evening. Monday afternoon it wasn’t busy at all so we got attentive service, and our drinks were served quickly. Music and ambiance were good. Tuesday evening it was pretty busy, and people were waiting a long time to get service. Several tables left without even getting any water or getting checked on. The food itself is decent pub food, decent prices. However, it isn’t anything spectacular. If you aren’t in a rush and just there for a good time with drinks, then this place is good. If you’re looking to get in, eat, get out… then head somewhere else.

We stopped by this place to eat pretty late. We were directed to the patio where the server ignored us for ten minutes while standing at a table talking to her friends about how much she hated her job. She never came around to us so we ended up leaving. How rude.

The bar itself was not that bad. The bartenders were awesome and the waitresses were really kind and courteous. I give this place a 2 because of your first impression of this place: the BOUNCERS. I was here during Keloha, one of Kelowna’s biggest weekends of the summer, and went to Doc’s for an after party that I had purchased a wristband for ahead of time. There was no organization for the people who had repurchased their tickets, people who were waiting in the cover line to get in, and the people trying to buy their way into the bar. Which by the way, was allowed. If you slipped the bouncer an extra $ 20 or so, you could skip all the people who already purchased tickets. Secondly, the bouncers were so rude, it was a complete turn off and shock. I am a really easy going person, with a good sense of humour, but there guys were disgusting. There is such thing as customer service, and it applies to everyone who works at your establishment.

Nice location, interior not too bad, but as a customer, you shouldn’t have to get your own menus if it’s not that terribly busy. Highs: the sandwich bun wasn’t too bad. Beef burger was good as well, minus the bun issue below. Lows: it is too much to ask to have a restaurant provide a beer or wine menu!!! The chicken burger was cheap, salty Sysco crap. Burger bun wasn’t toasted at all. The server acknowledged us quickly, however it took her a long time before she wiped the table plus i had to get the menus myself. Sorry, but it didn’t make the cut, and i wouldn’t return for the above mentioned reasons.
