I love this place. Always fresh baked everything. A nice spot for breakfast, usually packed with regulars which is a good sign.

Great concept store featuring fresh bread and pastries. A take out lunch for four featured chicken sandwiches and a Reuben sandwich for me. The girls liked their chicken sandwich but while the Reuben had the flavour it was light on filling for the price. Sweet tooth patrons may enjoy the pastries more!

Stopped in for lunch as we had been earlier in the week for sweets and had seen the menu! I had the turkey and cheese sandwich and my mom had the roast beef. Both came with coleslaw. They were both delicious but based on the menu and how amazing everything in the cases looked, I was surprised they used deli lunch meat and not real turkey and roast beef. I would still come back here the next time I’m in Kelowna.

Amazing! Had a turkey and Brie sandwich and it was amazing! The bread was to die for(cranberry and pumpkin seed) and all the fixings were perfectly paired! Delicious side of coleslaw to complete the dish! Will be going back for sure!

Delicious bread made for a fantastic sandwich. The accompanying coleslaw was a nice touch too. A combo with soup(Italian sausage with good flavour) was a great value at $ 11.00.

There aren’t many places in Kelowna that cater to a gluten free diet so when I Googled«gluten free Kelowna» and The Bread Co popped up I was stoked! Finally got a chance to go in, while taking a break from searching for a JOB! Ahem I’m looking for a J.O.B. Ppl! Tough times, but the chicken cajun sandwich on gluten free bread(made from almond flour, so I was informed) made my day a better one. Not to mention the warm rather well flavoured ham and veggie soup. Perfect portions of each, to satisfy a famished employment challenged individual. It was super busy today, the 4 stars because the only available table had dishes on it that I cleared away myself and I waited close to 20 mins for my order. Definitely recommend this place though, well crafted food obviously made with care. The atmosphere is buzzing but warm, and the staff are welcoming. Oh did I mention the gluten free chocolate chip cookies I bought to go? Yea, those are great! Looking forward to enjoying another meal there for sure! Breakfast next time.

My mother and I shared a chicken sandwich and soup combo.(I ordered one more soup) The bread was awesome, the sandwich had ample chicken, veggies and cheese. Personally I wouldn’t have been able to finish the sandwich alone. The cream soup was rich, delicious and served piping hot.(A pet peeve of mine is lukewarm soup service.) We also shared a tiramisu. Super! 2 coffees. Total — $ 20 plus a tip.

I’m legitimately addicted to the gluten free chocolate chip cookies here. They are so good. Bread company also has great coffee and friendly service. They also have great breakfast options and lots of gluten free goods.

If you like quality food(especially bread and baked goods) then you have to check out the Bread Company. Being gluten free and super annoying, I though I would have to order a salad for breakfast! Lucky for me, they had a gluten free bread which was pretty good and super filing. I ordered fresh OJ(with the equivalent of 8 oranges in one cup) and the breakfast sandwich(with avocado, spinach, egg, and tomato). Like I said, really filling. I also ordered a coffee but I didn’t quite like it! Food is delicious and freshly made, and the prices are super reasonable! Check it out!

Solid 3.5 stars, probably a 4 normally if it wasn’t for the snail-like service waiting for my chicken continental to be made. To be fair, the cashier was efficient but on a Sunday, they were clearly overwhelmed… they give you a number on a stand, and I timed it, 20min! Thankfully did order the chocolate chip cookie, recommended but the cinnamon pretzel’s a pass: did have a nice flakey inside with the cinnamon sugar generously sprinkled on top. The sandwich – was good, and be back next time without any hesitation, just when it’s not so busy lol. They offer catering. It’s a good date worthy for lunch, nice inside, a nicer version than Bread Garden back home… bench seating along the wall. And did have a great selection of desserts and of course, loaves of bread.

I was getting rather impatient as my pesto chicken sandwich was taking a long time to come out and it wasn’t very busy. Once my meal came out along with my partners we had to admit it was worth the wait! Beautiful fresh rolls

Stopped by here for a quick coffee and pastry –it was really busy but we managed to get a seat and were served very quickly. Coffee is good here but the baking is fabulous! Never miss coming here for a muffin and buying a loaf of bread for home.

Killer food, reasonably priced too … no more expensive than other places but better quality. Great baked goods from a traditional old school baker in a contemporary setting. Despite the fact that it is always very busy I can always find a table, which I agree is weird, but true. Hopefully that continues! I saw another review mentioning rude staff. I think that is somewhat down to the individual server, like many places I have had a rather apathetic server there once but on the whole the staff have been really friendly and have a ‘can do’ attitude whenever I ask for anything off piste. The owner always spares time to talk if he sees me too, even when he is obviously rushed.

11:45 am on a Sunday and they are not serving lunch yet. Rude front counter told me to order breakfast or come back in 30 minutes. Too bad as my lunch here a few weeks ago was great

I have to give this place a separate review for their baked bread. With over 5 choices in organic breads this is more then most places. and its good. So if your in need of gmo free loaf this is your place!

On a road trip across Canada’s West, I often get stuck in little places without much options for eating. Now that I’m in Kelowna I thought I would finally eat well, and my first pick was The Bread Company, attracted by their pulled pork sandwich lunch special. And I must say, everything was absolutely delicious, including the soup. And at a very reasonable price of 9.50. I will certainly be back during my 3 days stay here. And the girls working here are really nice too. Oh and free WiFi!

Great spot for breakfast with the locals! We visited on Saturday morning while strolling downtown. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. For breakfast, they offer mostly breakfast sandwiches, french toast, and eggs benedict. They do not offer a wide range of egg dishes since it’s first and foremost a bakery. However, baked goods are everywhere — fresh breads, cakes, cookies, scones, muffins, etc. I had the ham and egg breakfast sandwich which is on freshly baked ciabatta … SO good and quite filling. The perfect start to our morning.
