Fezziwig’s Artisan Bakery-Cafe

This is my favourite bakery in Kelowna or maybe any where. We custom order the whole wheat cinnamon raisin bread and it is ready for us the next day. The spelt cookies are delicious as is their cappuccino. The service is efficient and friendly. All of their desserts look incredible and they do a very brisk lunch time business.

Yes, there is some bad blood between a manager and I, but that doesn’t excuse the fact that the food is top notch.
The owners are a husband and wife team, with their daughter running a secondary location at Guisachan Village and another location at the local college. The owners are so sweet and really care about what goes into their food.
The bread is to die for. Freshly baked EVERY morning. You have two options of either white or whole wheat bread (rye as well if you order a pastrami). Both are equally as great. They make a fresh batch of soup everyday Vegetable Mondays, Minestrone Tuesdays, Split Pea and Ham Wednesdays, Beef Barley Thursdays and Chicken Noodle Fridays. The soup is lovely. Their sandwich mixes are made fresh daily as well. My personal favourites were the coronation chicken mix, the chipotle mix, the chicken almond mix and the pastrami on rye.
They create their own pastrami, roast beef and chicken fresh and buy their seafood/​vegetables locally (literally, right across the street at the Guisachan location!) They have DELICIOUS home made mac and cheese, homemade Shephard’s Pie and homemade lasagna. They have home made beef pies, quiches and sausage rolls. All original recipes made my «Mrs. Fezziwig». For the light lunchers, they have fresh and delicious salads as well! And they are huge! They have many options when it comes to «lunching» it. Soup and salad combos, casserole combos etc etc. They also have a coffee bar with lattes and such. And of course, the bakery selection. All fresh. All homemade. All original. Delicious. Personally, I am not that big of a sweets eater, but you can’t go wrong with the Fezziwig lemon tarts!
They are a little pricey but to me, it’s worth it. Unfortunately, I haven’t been in a year or so due to personal reasons, but I always find myself craving a little Fezziwig’s goodies now and again!

My wife & I were visiting from Vancouver and consider ourselves somewhat coffee connoisseurs. That said, we tried several recommended places, but Fezzwig’s was by far the BEST of the bunch. Definitely agree that this is a hidden gem.

The best lattes in Kelowna. The sandwiches are heavenly, and the huge assortment of treats is beyond tempting! The only problem is trying to choose! Great prices too!

Fezziwig’s is a hidden gem in Kelowna. Located in a strip mall area, it’s not really noticeable. I probably wouldn’t have noticed it if my stomach wasn’t growling when I stepped out of TD Bank right beside the bakery.
They specialize in fresh baked goods and lunch specials, like soups and sandwiches. Their cakes and treats just looked so good in the display case though, I had to try it! I think I had the apple turnover that day, and my mom had some sort of cake with whipped cream. I ended up eating most of hers along with mine, they were so good!
Fezziwig’s has tables inside, so you can just relax and enjoy your lunch or dessert, and take your time. It’s colorfully decorated with kischy teapots on shelves here and there, giving the café a cozy atmosphere. Definitely going to be a regular place for me when I come back to visit.
