Glad to see that they’re using excellent Matchstick coffee but the execution was a little off(I’m comparing to top-notch coffee places like Revolver, Matchstick, Stumptown, Ladro, etc) I love that they even offer pourover but the result wasn’t quite as good as I would hope. Same goes for the macchiato: good but not great(espresso needs to come through more). Cool space, friendly service.

Gorgeous décor, I loved the art they are selling right now! Staff are so friendly and made recommendations for touristy fun things to do. Offered to grill our banana bread and I will now ask for that everywhere! Great Americanos and atmosphere :)

I’ve been here a few times now and love it. The drinks are great, the atmosphere if fantastic, and the staff are always nice. Whether its coffee with a friend, or a business contact, this is an ideal place to be. The only down side — it closes at 4 on week days(other than Friday). I’ve stopped by a couple times after hours, forgetting about the early closing time…

The baristas here trained with the staff at Revolver in Vancouver to learn the«pour-over» method of coffee preparation. Amazing coffee, with beans sourced from unique roasters. The venue itself is cozy and culturally tuned-in. Weekly concerts stream live on YouTube, and performers stand on a low stage in front of a brilliant stacked-firewood wall. It’s a perfect concept, a great shop, for any city; a stroke of genius. The only complaint is the hours: even on Saturday nights, with a liquor license and a music venue, the place closes by 9 pm; on weekdays, it closes even earlier.
