While making a reservation online this past Friday, I neglected to choose the checkin and check out dates and the system default booked me in for Friday, the day I made the reservation. I didn’t notice until I read my confirmation email on Sunday so I called in to rebook for the three days this week that I will be in Kelowna. Their policy has no room for human error and I had to pay a full $ 269.10 for this error. So I Paid full rate which included the breakfast package. I would think that they would consider discounting a night for me considering there was no need for a room cleaner, I didn’t sleep there or eat the breakfast that I paid. I did let her know I need a room for three nights this coming week, she robotically referred to the company policy. According to Trivago, there are 102 hotels in Kelowna. If I were the manager, my response would have sounded a little more like, «Although we do have company policies, I would like to do something for you, If you book the three nights with us this week, I will give you 15% off of your stay». So, I will now book with one of the other 101 hotels and will do so from now on.

I was here for 3 nights. The front staff was helpful. Answered a bunch of questions I had, got me the faxes that were sent to me. The bartender in the restaurant was nice. I’m vegetarian and pretty much everything on their menu is meat, meat, meat. They however were able to just whip me up some veggies for me for lunches, so I was super pleased. The room is nice. Beds comfortable. TV a great size. Lovely view looking over the airport and mountains. Free WiFi, which is important to me, although the strength was very hit or miss. 1⁄3 of the time it was very, very slow. The only, only real issue I have is I had stuff to put in the fridge. The next morning, nothing was cold. The fridge wasn’t even plugged in. I had to move the entire cabinet to plug it in. Why was it unplugged??? Thankfully, my stuff was still salvageable. But it was irritating. Otherwise though, good place to stay, and the only one close to the airport.

Great hotel with superb customer service. Free shuttle service makes this an awesome place to stay. We used the shuttle service to/from the airport and a nearby golf course for a wedding. All times, the shuttle came/left within 10 minutes. Hotel is a year old so everything is quite new. Restaurant(Ric’s Grill) was great at lunch but not so good during breakfast. Location is right across the street from the airport. Walking there is not recommended as there is no sidewalk so hotel staff would prefer to drive you there. Pretty much nothing else is around the immediate area as the retail space is all for lease that I could see so there is only Ric’s Grill as a food option unless you drive somewhere else. Hotel room was great. Beautiful bathroom. What threw me off is the tap(at least in our room 221) where you had to turn it to the right for hot water and to the left for cold. We had a bad view of the roof and a huge ventilation box outside. A story about their great customer service: my husband had discovered 5 hours later after check out at the entrance to the airport security that he had forgotten his passport in the hotel room safe. Hector Devesa had took my call, went up to the room personally(the next people hadn’t checked in yet), and drove the passport to the airport to hand it off to us. We were very lucky! Didn’t get a 5-star rating only because there isn’t anything else around and the only food option is their restaurant, Ric’s Grill. Otherwise a fine hotel!

Stayed at the hotel a number of times now and it’s just great. The rooms are laid out really well and there are the hotel amenities you need(hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, coffee — but the creamers gotta go or leave more than 2) The staff are great at this hotel. I will comment on the restaurant; breakfast sausages = outstanding !! Not your run of the mill cheep sausage, these are hand made and gluten free and the meat and spices are wonderful.

Yes this hotel is new, so that’s good because things aren’t shabby yet. Hopefully it will not get to that point. We stayed one night on the way to Banff and then one more night after we left Banff. The plus was we could have our small dog(for a fee) and we were also able to do laundry! The staff was pleasant and helpful, parking easy, out front(until they have the underground ready for Guests). The room was simple and air conditioned, they provided us with 2 bottles of water and ample towels. Be careful though as sometimes the water turns brownish due to sediment or something of that nature, I was told. We enjoyed the fitness room, and there is a swimming pool Available with a slide. The walls are slightly thin, but there were not too many people staying there. The bed was also comfy. Being near an airport concerned us, but we heard nothing. Not sure what kind if flights go out or come in. Cleanliness on a scale 1 – 10, 8.5−9. We chose this because we used our Starwood points. I would stay again. Oh, the adjoining restaurant is where we had breakfast and we did not care for the food. In town, Mabui for Japanese food, yum!

Well it’s hard to not like a hotel that’s only been open for 3 days! This Four Points is brand new and the rooms are modern and up to date. The location, near the airport, is not the most convenient, and a pool would have been nice. But with free wifi, free bottle water, and updated amenities, this is probably the nicest Four Points I’ve been to in a long time.
