Pretty much your usual White Spot experience here, even at the airport. It had been a while since I’ve been to a WS so I’m going to say that this location had a stripped down menu, but that may not be true. The food was good and the beer was cold. The pop was flat though. The server did his best to rectify that issue, but had and edge of a «I really don’t care about this» aditude.

I’d give it 3.5 stars if I could but I’ve never had a terrible meal here so I gave them the extra half point. Kelowna airport has little to no options for food than white spot. You can always get a table, the menu is small, the burgers are great and it comes out fast. They have a regular burger there that has this wicked mayo. And the fries are bottomless. It’s nothing fancy but it’s become our thing to split a burger before take off.

At 5:00 am in an airport you won’t find better wait staff than this. All of the ladies were totally awesome with friendly smiles on their faces and huddling their butts off to service everyone fast so they can catch their early morning flight. The food came out fast and was fresh and tasty. Fresh fruit was not on the menu but when I asked for it, they prepared me a nice bowl of grapes, oranges and apples — fresh cut — not out of a jar! The service and food here started my day off right!

I had the WORST experience here. I had time to spare before my flight so my girlfriend and I stopped here, or at least tried to. Despite the fact that there were empty tables with garbage on them, they told us we would have to wait. When we were seated after about 10 minute we were not given menus and treated like garbage for the duration of our meal, which in case you were wondering was TERRIBLE.

Good casual full service dining right past security at YLW! It’s everything white spot is known for: the salads, the pasta, the burgers, the drinks, the breakfast, the pies and all… In an airport before boarding; just past security! It’s not the Ritz so don’t be expecting anything overly fancy; it’s a standard and consistent white spot after all. You must try the tomato based clam chowder soup. Yummy comfort on a travel day.

Usually I avoid White Spot(I know, I’m a snob) but when needs must this place was a lifesaver for poutine and beer! My flight to San Francisco was delayed nearly 3 hours so after waiting it out for a while I caved and went to grab a beer. Their beer selection is not super crafty, and it’s a little pricey, but they have a couple of ok beers. I grabbed a Lord Stanley Pale Ale in their«spot size» ie. a pint, and it was fine. Nothing to write home about, but good when you feel like something beer-like to enjoy at Kelowna airport. Your options are limited and the ‘patio’ décor is good enough that you can relax a little. My server was very nice and came by a few times to check on me — I ended up ordering poutine as well(drown your sorrows in gravy, cheese, and fries, as I always say) and it arrived promptly, hot, and with a friendly smile. The poutine itself was fine — the gravy was flavourful and the fries were tasty, although the cheese wasn’t melty enough for me; but the dish was good overall. My flight ended up getting called for boarding earlier than expected so I needed to pay and boogie quickly, and my server was well prepared. She brought my bill as I was packing up my laptop, and had the card reader with it so I could pay up and peace out asap. White Spot is never somewhere I’d choose to go if I had a local option(if I’m totally honest), but this is a great choice if you’ve got time to kill at YLW.

Went to both of these for lunch over 2 days. At the one before security the view is nicer but I found the staff less friendly. Got the salmon burger and it tasted very fishy which made me think it wasn’t that fresh. Second try was through security with the cauliflower salad which was pretty good. The one before security 2 stars, and the one through security 3.5 stars.

The food is a 3 but the service is a 4. Our flight from Kelowna to Calgary was delayed and we decided to grab some lunch before a long day of flying. We were dubious of a restaurant in a small airport but were pleasantly surprised! First, our waitress made sure we knew the wait time before we even sat down. They were very considerate and conscious of time. We had plenty of time and ordered. Our food was comparable to a regular White Spot location. I ordered a chicken sandwich and the baked potato poutine. The poutine was great. The waitresses were great about refills and clearing dirty tables. The location is great because it has a wall of windows so lots of natural light. There is also a display closeby so you can monitor flights. Overall, I was really pleased with this restaurant.

Ordered Fish and chips(substituted with sweet potato fries & added 1 pc fish for $ 3), 6 oz burger. The kitchen forgot the extra piece of fish, so we got it after. As soon as we were seated they said the food takes about 25 mins to arrive, we we’re super early for our flight so it wasn’t a problem. The sweet potato fries were really yummy. The burger was decent. The presentation of the food was great. Food was really hot, they brought it from the kitchen that is past security that’s why it takes a bit longer and it travels in rolling warmer for food. For airport food, I was impressed! And it was nice to people watch.

Servers consistently short tempered and rude. As a large group of 15 people we felt that our presence brought a huge imposition upon the staff despite the fact that the restaurant was nearly empty at the time. Our poor experience based entirely upon the lack of professionalism demonstrated by these staff members over a long period of time speak to issues at a local level and lack of quality control by White Spot management.

Burger I ordered was a little slow(15 – 20 minutes), but the service was friendly considering they were working during the holidays. Unfortunately you’re paying airport tier prices for higher tier fast food :(…

Mushroom burger with fries and slaw was pretty damn good for a normal no-frills burger. Nothing fancy about it, just a normal chain-restaurant type burger, which was actually pretty tasty. The fries were just ehh, and the slaw was ehh as well. Sat at the bar, in front of the 2 large TVs, and had nice conversation with the waitresses. Was pretty slow at 1pm on a Saturday. There’s really only this, Tim Hortons, or a small café at the end of the departures area. If you eat post-security, you have the actual restaurant there. If you eat pre-security there is just a bunch of tables where they wheel the food out from the restaurant to the outside tables — so it’s not a full restaurant pre-security. Overall, some of the better airport food I’ve had.

An OK place to get some quick food before your flight at Kelowna airport. We ate a the pre-security location, but we noticed there was another, smaller version after security. Food was OK. My pulled pork sliders would have been much better had they not drowned them in some weird, orange sauce. My youngest loved her fried chicken tenders, but my oldest said«eh» when I asked how her grilled cheese was. She didn’t finish it. Decent set of local beers on tap — always a positive. Service was mixed, and I experienced ‘waitress envy’. Our waitress refused to smile and had a permanent look of boredom on her face, but the waitress at the next table was friendly, cute and chipper. «Uh…can we switch servers please?»(No, I didn’t actually say it.) This seems to be the only decent, sit-down place in the Kelowna airport, unless you want donuts and coffee at Tim Horton’s.
