The good points: The night desk guy was awesome! When I told him my phone charger plug in didn’t work he offered that I could sit at the lobby computer for as long as needed to charge my phone and even chatted me up a bit. The continental breakfast was also decent for what it was. The kids were excited about the waffle station. The room was clean and it was easy to find on the main drag which was a bonus after a long day of driving. The bad points: There was a miscommunication between the travel agent and the hotel, the two kids weren’t added to the room. Since they were pretty booked and we were beat from driving all day, we just made it work. In the morning the owner took the issue up with my husband… in front of our kids, by way of demeaning and condescending, thus making the kids feel pretty bad about being there(good, quiet kids to boot). My husband still had yet to pay for the room so he went to discuss this with the owner who was then nowhere to be found so we just went on with our vacation where we had issues with our credit card. Apparently they held the deposit for 5+ days leaving us questioning our CC for several days. The owner also made a point to be through the lobby looking over at me as I charged my phone as often as he could, in what I can only assume was an attempt to make me uncomfortable. Good thing I’m not capable of that. Given the high number of other places to stay in Kelowna, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Stayed here for 2 nights staff was as friendly as expected for a HoJo food was terrible the first night improved on the second. Pool and Hot tub closed first night second night the hot tub was broken and pool was colder than outside. Wouldn’t suggest this place except for a last resort. As well could hear different employees complaining they were called In 30 minutes before expected to start as well seems no orginization in the businesses. Also the elevators are both in terrible condition 2 stars for free breakfast and a block from Tim Hortons
