Latin Fiesta

DELICIOUS! We recently moved close by and thought we’d give it a try; we were not disappointed! We both got the enchilada platter which came with three enchiladas, rice, beans, salsa and red and green chilli sauce. Everything tastes amazing, and very very cheap (pretty much everything is less than $ 10). Can’t recommend it highly enough and cannot wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!

A cozy little place just around the corner off the hwy that was just the thing to satisfy my craving for Latin food. Cafeteria setting — just go up to the counter and wait for your number to be called.
Glad they had a kids menu with no spice (my 2 yr old can’t handle things ‘picey’). He had the soft chicken taco which became a soggy mess with the pico de gallo but next time I’ll just get him a tamale. I ordered the Salvadorian tamale and pupusa — very delicious ! Pupusa had a nicely crisped exterior and the side salad was a bit small but good. My hubby had the enchilada and it was mucho grande! Filled with steak, rice cooked in broth, beans and veggies; very filling I have to say!
I noticed that everything was light on quesa (cheese) which was fine with me and pretty much authentic. Light on spices but I assume I can get more heat next time when not with Jr. I’m also assuming for more cauc palates too. I’m pretty happy with what I ordered and enjoyed a sangria flavoured soda. Not super quick but then you know it’s made to order like the pupusa and burrito by one lady behind the counter. Clean and loved the red painted nook. We sat at the big table with benches. The only thing that would have made my day would have been some tres leches which they don’t have on their menu.
Overall a nice family lunch which was under $ 30 including drinks. Give it a try but if you expect cheese laden food like in Tex-​Mex joints you better hit the other place!

I’ve only ever had better tacos twice and only south of the border. I ordered 3 of the tacos al pastor (pork) at $ 2.50 each. It was 3 minutes from order to plate. They had a great flavor and a little kick. I wish we had one of these at home.

The wait time was quite long but the food was really good. You don’t want to come here if you are in a hurry and you don’t mind standing for awhile if you want to eat in.

Down home really simple and tasty Mexican. I would say this place is super authentic. I had the pork tacos on a gluten free corn taco. The pineapple salsa is sub web on top and add a little Valentina hot sauce for a kick.
I also tried the chicken tamale which was very authentic as well cooked in a corn husk.
My friend had the enchiladas with tomatillo sauce and it was great too. I would say this place is a nice place for a quick flavourful lunch. Not fancy by any means, just great food.

Fresh homemade, Mexican/​Salvadorian food. Great little place (8 – 10 tables), can get very busy around lunchtime. Cafeteria style service, they give you a number then call it out when your order is ready. The menu is small only about 10 items but they are all fresh and delicious. The burritos and tacos el pastor are our favourites. The prices are reasonable, $ 2.50 per taco and $ 8 per burrito (huge). A recommended unique stop for a casual meal.

Fantastic, for the price. The food is good, the environment is friendly, and it’s so cheap.

I have eaten here many times and I love it every time. The tacos, enchiladas and tostadas are my favourite. They also serve large tasty burritos. I don’t love the nachos as they are not really loaded with great stuff but they are also inexpensive like $ 5 so what do you expect.
I wish they sold a super nachos for like $ 10 so that way they would be loaded. I prefer taco del mars nachos. Overall if you love Mexican food and you want a good deal try this place.
