Nothing to write home about. Everything was good but not great. Friendly waiting staff, expansive menu but nothing stood out. I guess you could call it consistent but really not yummy and a dining experience.

A reasonable spot for a Mexican Bulldog on a sunny afternoon. Boyfriend and I stopped in on our way home from a hot afternoon game of 1:1 basketball, which I obviously totally beat him at 90 – 1.* He’d been here a couple of times after his Allsports games to have Mexican Bulldogs and, as I’d never had one, we decided to grab one. We found a shady spot on their lovely patio, passing through the restaurant on the way, and several servers. Despite this it took a long time to get service, which was a shame. The drinks came out fairly quickly after we ordered, and were reasonably priced. The margarita had an almost chalky taste to it that I didn’t much like, but when the beer had drained into it a decent amount the flavour was fine. This is a more«old Kelowna» style place, if that makes sense — not somewhere that’s typically my scene. We may be back for Mexican Bulldogs but it won’t become a regular hangout for us. *One aspect of this review may be an exaggeration but I decline to state which on the grounds that I may incriminate my terrible basketball skills.

Hi — I’ve been in the service industry since I was 14– hostess, waitress, bartender. Im 34 now. I’m a nurse but I work weekends as a bartender at a busy restaurant in Massachusetts and I’ve always emphasized the importance of customer service. Recently I sat down with my boyfriend at Original Joe’s and ordered 2 blonde ales and a club soda at 5:55. We got 2 beers and a pale ale. We said«sorry we ordered a club soda, not a pale ale«no apologies, no conversation, just dumped the extra beer down the drain and brought a club soda. We really wanted a half price app and asked a waitress standing at the well to order one because the bartender was busy. It was 5:59 and the bartender said it was past 6. Company policy? Maybe — but we got our tab and the beers were $ 3.50 each and the club soda was $ 3.00. No conversation, no asking how we are doing tonight — brought the tab and we paid and left. We had actually been here the last 2 nights and spend over $ 200 on food and drinks — maybe just an isolated experience, maybe just unusually poor customer service. Did not feel welcome and had bad energy from the moment we arrived until when we left.
