We had chefs table 5 course dinner with wine pairing. It was awesome experience. Danny was very knowledgeable with the wine and food. Very impressed and would highly recommend. Oh and the view us pretty epic

Loved this place. — Lots of wonderful wines to choose from. — Plenty of parking. — Staff was very friendly. — Restrooms are very clean. — Neighbouring restaurant and outdoor lounge /monument area has a phenomonal view of Kelowna. — Wine tastings are free with a bottle purchase. — Organic wines are available. — Possibly a great venue for a wedding! A+ experience.

Awesome view! Great service! The food… Good presentation. Flavouring is off. We had the mussels, duck, and the lamb. The mussels were over powered by curry and dill. The duck was over salted, but it did have crusty skin as a result. The lamb was okay. The sausage that came with the lamb was very gamy. The portion could definitely be a little bit more generous. They did not have our reservation and we had to wait about an hour. But we didn’t mind because of the view and the wine tasting. I don’t drink but my partner loved their selection and was totally amazed by the atmosphere and the selection of the wines. I took some pictures of the outside. The view was breathtaking. Once our food arrived it was so worth it. We definitely give this place a 5 star review. If you are in town you must check out summerland.

Beautiful view but we tried 6 different wines in the tastings and didn’t find any that are good. The restaurant is a spectacular setting, but as for the food… we had the seafood platter for two, and it wasn’t good.. The clams were the only part of the meal I would recommend.

Was here for a wedding. Pretty nice facility overall, and a great venue for a wedding. Food was pretty good with a good variety: salmon, chicken, beef, and your regular assortment of salads and veggies. Wine was good as well, but definitely not my favourite. I did quite like the pear drink.

Although the food was good, the service was brutal. Our meal took 3.5 hours with barely an apology for the kitchen losing our order. We like this winery but we will not come back to eat. There are some great places to eat in Kelowna, this is not one of them.

First off super creepy in the pyramid on the tour. There were candles on the floor as if someone had been in doing weird mysticism things and another on an alter type thing behind me. Next off the tour guide was trying to get everyone to do some weird chakra type thing to feel the energy of the pyramid that gives there wine special flavors. I was not impressed with their attempt to push people to doing this. On top of that a bit pricey for the tour and the wine was nothing special we visited 7 different winery’s and this was the only one we did not buy from. Stay away from the tour in less you are into that or want to see how creepy it is when they push this mysticism on you instead of talking about wine a good 20 minutes on the special pyramid power…

I had to go here for a work date… yeah, life’s tough. The menu for dinner was great and the service was very professional. This is a super location for a date, engagement or marriage.

I had high expectations regarding the tour. The environment is nice and welcoming. Good wines at reasonable prices. It’s a great place for people starting to explore the world of wines.

I don’t know how this place gets so much love… this was my least favourite of all the vineyards we visited. Perhaps it’s because it’s so «popular» that I dislike it so much. This was one of two places where we didn’t buy any wine, which is most definitely an anomaly for us. The staff were cold, they charged for the tasting and frankly, the wine wasn’t all that good. They had some cool bottles and knick knacks available but that’s about it. I don’t think I’d come back here… well maybe for the view.

Had our wedding reception here, and the food was very good, with reasonably priced organic wines, and a gorgeous view. Our guests had a blast! It was between these guys and Tinhorn Creek in Oliver BC, and even though the view’s better at Tinhorn Creek, Summerhill Pyramid Winery won us with their superior service and professionalism: a must-have when planning a wedding!

This is a beautiful winery that also has a wonderful restaurant attached. The views across the lake provide a picturesque setting that is just perfect for eating and drinking wine. The food is absolutely amazing, and reasonably priced too. The wine is so-so. Not bad at all, but probably not worth the price they charge per bottle. I would say $ 5 per bottle less would be a fair price. If I were to rate solely on the wine, it would be 2 stars, but for the location, food and experience, it’s worth a four overall.

If you’re into mysticism or pyramids, this is a great winery. If you’re into tour buses and views, it’s nice. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend this winery as virtually all of the offerings have an off musty note I can’t get over. I’ve been several years and it’s always the same issue. I know, I hear you saying: «but it’s organic!». If you’re into wine and need organic, go to Kalala Organic Winery on the other side of the lake and see what good organic wine can taste like.

A favorite in Kelowna! The soup I had was one of the tastiest things I’ve ever eaten! And with the wine that they paired with each of the 3 courses of the meal, made for a special night!

Hmmm, it’s hard to taste the wine after that wine tour. The winery is dominated by a concrete pyramid, selected by the owner for its mystical power to improve the wine, and fortified by copper and crystals for the same reasons. While I appreciate the earnestness of our tour guide, I found myself overwhelmed by scepticism and jadedness. The wine is passable, and this is the most visited winery in the Okanogan, but I cannot say that the wine was stellar. The Ehrenfelser & Cipes(sparkling) are enjoyable, but this is not a must-visit winery for me. Much better quality and less contrived experiences will be found elsewhere. The view of the valley is lovely from this spot, if you’re touring a number of wineries, consider including this on the list, but it should not be the sole destination.

Nice, picturesque scenery, but busy! Tour’s from everywhere were here. There was also a wedding below the main deck. I didn’t get to sample the wines, but friends did and enjoyed while I walked around and snapped pictures on my broken camera. And yes there is a pyramid. I can’t say, but you’ll just have to come by and check it out for yourself. If you’re ever on an Okanogan winery tour, drop by and taste their treats, get some picnic stuff and head over to their little picnic area with a nice view of the lake.

I’m going to give you two reviews about Summerhill Pyramid Winery. The first is the wine tour. It’s not much of a wine tour, but more like an infomercial. They tell you that everything is organic and the story of the organic movement. They tell you where they store the wines and the types of wines they produce and they’ll give you samples of wines to taste. Honestly, if you hate drinking wine, avoid the 5 dollar wine tour. The second review is for the Summerhill Pyramid Winery restaurant. I had grilled halibut dish. Believe me, what I ate wasn’t halibut but the texture, taste, flavours, seemed more like cod and it was such a large piece of fish which made me said to myself… THISCAN’T BEHALIBUT!” I swear, what they served me wasn’t halibut as it tasted more like ling cod. Overall, I think this restaurant is decent. Not the best service, but decent service. Expensive yes, but it’s service could be better for the price you’re paying for the meals.

short and sweet… I enjoyed a stop at Summerhill mid September. Personally, I really enjoy trying local beers and wines on vacation, but don’t take it terribly serious(read that as: know/retain very little information about the whole thing). I will not be found drinking import while or beer on vacation or while on visit to a city outside of my current town, period. Anywho, the tour and tasting was informative and fun, not over my head or snobby. I also really appreciate that the winery is organic and has been since day one :)

We took a morning to do some wine tasting before catching our flight home. Summerhill was our first stop and the view was amazing. I love water views, oceans, lakes, rivers. As long as it’s not stagnant, I’m into it. The wine on the other hand, I was not that into. I tried more than the ice wine so it was not just my bias against that sweet drink talking.
