One of our favourite breakfast places was closed today for the holidays, but Smitty’s was open and ready to deliver a flavourful experience from beginning to end. It’s not a fancy joint, but the service is top notch and the food is delicious. They don’t try to be something they are not and remain true to a great canadian breakfast. We will definitely return.

Service was nice enough, and I’m not one to post poor reviews, yet;
— first Skillets only come with eggs scrambled
— then the have Tabasco, but only Habenero not the classic?!
— then I asked for soft poached eggs on the Bennidict, and they were very Hard poached.
Bummed so far.

Bön repas simple et service rapide! Parfait si vous passez par Kingston en visite ou comme nous de passage sur la 401. Le détour de la 401 vaut la peine au lieu des fast-​food habituels. Excellent service par Sabrina et bon acceuil. Au menu: du choix même les déjeuners le soir!

I go here on average monthly for the past 2 years I’ve never been disappointed with the food or service. Wish there were more solid breakfast places in town.
Hash browns — deep fried delicious little cubes.
Eggs are always perfectly cooked,… I typically get the mushroom spinach and Swiss omelet which happens to come with hollandaise sauce and the hollandaise is velvety smooth and is a great fake hollandaise,… That’s a compliment not complaint,… I don’t expect real hollandaise for a $ 12 breakfast omelet w potatoes and toast.
