This restaurant was one of my go-to spots when I lived in Kitchener. The owner is so friendly and the service is fast. The food is delicious, especially the pork bone soup! I love all the side dishes. There is a honey-potato side dish that’s really yummy. Every dish I’ve had is delicious.

Excellent, fast and friendly service — Pork Bone Soup is delicious, meaty and filling. The bibimbap was okay, not quite as flavourful as expected, but it was the first time trying this dish anywhere, so we really didn’t have anything to compare it to. The seafood pancake was deliciuos. Overall we were pleased and would definitely recomend this little place.

I was kind of disappointed with this place to be honest, considering the good reviews and I really wanted to like this place since it’s the only korean restaurant near my house. We got the bibimbap, chinese style fried noodles, and the korean beef rib soup. The bibimbap was filled with lots vegetables but was lacking in meat. Also the sauce they give you is spicy but doesn’t have the usual flavour. Both issues made it a pretty plain-tasting dish and I usually love bibimbap! The soup was decent but I think it’s pretty hard to get that wrong. The chinese style fried noodles tasted kind of like HK style black pepper noodles(we got it spicy) even though it was bright red. It was probably the best dish of the night. Lastly, one reason I go to korean restaurants is for the delicious side dishes but aside from the kimchi and pickled radish, the side dishes here were very bland. On the upside the prices are lower than normal for a korean restaurant and the service is pretty friendly and efficient.

Hubs and I were craving Korean food, found this spot and it easily became our go to spot for delicious Korean food. He had pork bone soup… Kind of wish I had my own bowl instead of sneaking a few(okay more like a bunch) bites of his order. The soup was steaming hot with the perfect amount of spice, lots of meaty pork that melts in your mouth, and nice bites of cabbage and bean sprouts. It came with a bowl of rice which of course completed the meal. So good. I had the bibimbap. Came in sizzling in a hot stone bowl with lots of veggies(zucchini, carrot, bean sprouts, mushrooms, seaweed), a bit of beef, and the essential fried egg on top. I would’ve been happier with a little more beef(the beef could’ve had some more flavor also) but I was still very happy with it because of the amount of veg. It also came with a side of plain soup. Everything was tasty and definitely way more bang for your buck. The price was great also– around $ 20 for the both of us, and we left feeling very satisfied.

Very nice, small and quiet spot for some yummy Korean food. The small plates came out quickly. The kimchee is yummy. I had pork kimchi chigea. Was nice and hot, good spice and flavor. The spicy rice cakes were excellent.
