Fox And Hounds

This pub has a real homey feel to it. The people are super nice as well which is always a bonus. The format here is you have to order your food and drinks at the bar but we didn’t feel this too away from the experience at all. They have a great selection of locally brewed beer plus others. We started with the smoke salmon mousse and artichoke dip. Both were good but the mousse was over the top! Our party had the halibut fish & chips — great, seafood pie — good, and steak & mushroom and blue cheese pie. The meat pie was pretty good but I thought the blue cheese was overpowering. The meat was so tender and the sauce was so good. I would recommend if u like blue cheese otherwise get the one without the cheese.

Excellent pub food and friendly service. Good live music without cover is a nice bonus. Cool beer selection — try the Innis & Gunn for something delicious and different!
Short walk from the community marina, although it’s somewhat uphill… The good news is that you go downhill on the way back after drinks!

Great English fare and atmosphere. Clean and new restaurant withe the feel of an English tavern.
