Amazing bakery. The peanut butter cup cookie is a definite favourite at this place… of course along with the cinnamon buns. They also have great coffee too! I come here at least 2 – 4 times a month before I head to work! Great staff and great place.

Amazing huge, huge cinnamon buns and fresh bread. The place is usually packed(just a warning) but the line moves quickly. Real cream and wholesome ingredients are used and the price… wow. I can’t believe how inexpensive the items are. Just because they’re intensive doesn’t mean that quality is skimped on. It’s not. It’s just a bakery who would rather make delicious inexpensive baked goods and sell lots of them, rather than up the price and have an empty store. I highly recommend stopping by and indulging! The turnover is great so no matter when you stop by, the baked goods will always be fresh.

Yummy cinnamon buns — original, peanut butter, and blackberry ginger to name a few, friendly service and cute décor. A must stop when travelling through town.

Ok, I know that a Saturday morning can be busy in a small town, but WOW, talk about endless fans of this unique and authentic bakery. I enjoyed a fresh blackberry, apricot cinnamon bun… and a coffee… at a window table, watching the world of Ladysmith go by. This is the town that wins the best Christmas decorated town in all of B.C., and if you’ve missed that event, be there in 2013’s version. It’s a lovely yesteryear townsite, between Cowichan Valley’s Duncan and Nanaimo… I encourage you to stop here, and to buy bread, enjoy and authentic pie, and do not walk past all the cinnamon bun choices. Three cheers for a real bakery!

Dee-lish! One of the highlights of our BC sailing trip this summer. Great selection of treats including a huge variety of gigantic cinnamon rolls, rolls, awesome bread, lunch sandwiches and soup. Crowded at all hours so you know it has to be good. Also, surprisingly reasonable prices. Don’t waste any more time reading this if you could be on your way to eating a blackberry ginger cinnamon roll!

I was very delighted to find this little gem during our visit to Ladysmith. On a sunny day you can sit outside like we did or if you are lucky you can get a seat inside as this is such a popular little place. The entire time we sat enjoying our meal there were others lining up to get their own slice of paradise. We partook in a selection of salads, spinach pie, baked macaroni, sandwiches, cookies, and challah bread. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. I particularly liked the lime meringues so full of flavour and the house salad which was garnished with cranberries and candied pecans. As it sometimes happens, we didn’t save enough space to try one of their famous cinnamon buns. The selection of which is extensive. The day we were there they offered flavours such as peanut butter cream cheese, orange, blueberry, chocolate pecan and classic cinnamon raisin. Yup I am still kicking myself for not just getting one to go. Anyway, if you are passing through or live in the area I highly recommend checking it out.

The best find for a bakery north of Vancouver! Very tasty and large cinnamon rolls and muffins! Great prices and a place you must stop at if driving or visiting via boat.
