Browns Socialhouse

I am a fan of Brown’s for its social res-​affordable all day long, and it’s salads and spa bowl. I was at this Brown’s and believe the server got the change wrong. I typically don’t carry cash so it was easy to see when I got home, the mistake. It was really bothering me several days later, but the fact that I didn’t check it thoroughly at the time –was my fault. I called the manager just to let him know, not expecting anything and boy was I surprised. He said he would check with the servers and get back to me as the floats should show the mistake.
Very pleased with the level of customer services, the manager’s response and his solution went above and beyond. I go to Brown’s because their food is consistent and I like the atmosphere and although I was happy with the service –I know they do truly care about customers. 5 stars

Nice busy atmosphere, food came quickly. There isn’t a very large craft beer variety here, but the seasonal tap I ordered was good! Service was pretty good, as time went on the manager was taking our drink orders because the waitress was swamped (poor gal, I hope he takes note and schedules more staff for busy evening times) The food wasn’t great, but I don’t have high expectations from this chain. I don’t come out this way often, but given the choice I would choose a earls or cactus instead for the big box chains.

Christmas party venue, was the least impressive free dinner experience I’ve ever had.
Wait staff could not get orders or tables right. The food was mediocre at best, arrived cold + soggy. Coffee was meh. Their timing was poor, none of our dishes arrived together.
Not a fan, unlikely to return. Sorry Browns, modern décor isn’t enough these days.

Came here for a Christmas party. Wasn’t very busy in the restaurant, it had people in it but wasn’t crazy busy. Started out good but then our waitress literally disappeared! As it was a staff party we had about 13 in our group and only 1 waitress to serve all of us. We had pre-​booked our reservation so you think they would staff accordingly? Our waitress never seemed to be around when we needed her! The food was ok, but seemed really over priced for what you got! The atmosphere was cool but super hard to hold conversation over blasting music! (Also who bring kids to this kind of restaurant?) I just felt like we were an «inconvience» and rushed with no «extra mile offered». I mean I’m not asking for much but dude at least tell me the specials I shouldn’t have to ask, please ask if I want another drink and dessert, and I really shouldn’t have to ask more then once to pay you so I can leave! Will NOT be my first choice for another staff function or choice on a night out.

Great experience, I had dry ribs — chicken tacos — keylime pie. My wife had halibut bowl and Carmel pie desert all fantastic, atmosphere and service outstanding.

Service was very good. Food was a bit pricey for the product.
Our server was very attentive and kind. Those of us who had burgers and fries and the fish tacos were pleased. The cowboy pizza was pretty good too. My salad could have been less wet with dressing, used romaine lettuce and more of it (it seemed like it was a small handful of iceberg lettuce). I liked that they used real grilled chicken instead of deli meat. Portions were reasonable but a bit pricey.

We are sitting in the Langly location as I write this.
So far our experience is very poor. Music in dinning room is so loud you cannot have a conversation.
Moved to the patio. Very drafty and COLD.
It took 15 minutes to get our wine and the one glass (pint grigio) was awful. Sent back took another 10 minutes to get a relacement.
Burger arrived, pub burgers were great, tasty and hot. The yam fies were another story, cold and soggy.
On a scale of 1 to 10 Food 5 service 2.
Much better food and value at Cactus Club or Milestones. We have tried Browns prior with a similar experience. WON’T BE BACK

I have now been here a half dozen times. Pretty good food, pretty good service.
If you choose to sit at the bar, hopefully you get some of the guy bartenders and not the unfriendly chick with the shorter dark hair, accent and tattoos… i don’t think she likes customers.
The fish dishes are pretty great, the hamburgers and pizza are above average and some of the bowls we’ve tried are good as well. We like the atmosphere here. It has a good vibe and i like the mix in the crowd. We will keep coming back as a place in our rotation of eating out.
