It’s About Time

I brought a vintage Omega watch here to be serviced and cleaned and have it sized to my wrist. I specifically asked if I could have the fake Omega links out that someone else had added and then move the pins in the clasp forward to fit me.
when my husband picked up the watch, the fake links were still in it and they had removed different original links and did not move the pin.
i brought it back and again asked to have the fake links taken out and the real ones put back in. they did it on the spot, but left one fake link in, despite my specific request and again didn’t move the pins in the clasp to size it for me.
when the guy did this, he scratched the sides of the bracelet quite badly, so I didn’t want him to touch it further and decided just to get out of there.
on closer inspection when I got home, they had put in the hands wrong and now the hour hand sits in an incorrect position.
considering this «servicing» of my watch cost over $ 200, I am extremely unhappy.
they damaged my watch, didn’t size it as I had requested and the hands are now in the wrong position, which they weren’t when I brought it in,
it’s been a few months and now my watch has stopped working altogether, which makes me very frustrated and makes me seriously question what they did to it while they had it in their care.
since this experience, I’ve read other negative reviews of this place online and really wish I had known this before taking my expensive watch in there for servicing… my hope is that I can save others the money and damage to their goods by posting this review. stay away!
