Great sushi and fresh sashimi. A decent place to have lunch with coworkers. However, I’ve noticed on several occasions the food quality of their take outs are less promising, the portions were smaller and flavors just ain’t the same. Since the place is always packed, it’s difficult for one person to dine-in. Hope they can improve their take out orders. Overall, it’s a decent place in a industrial park like Port Kells.

The food is always consistently good and fresh. And the staff are extremely friendly. This is our families go to place for sushi around Langley. The price is about right for the quality/quantity.

My favorite sushi place, hands down. Regular kappa rolls are pretty standard anywhere you go, but the specialty rolls here are amazing. Highly recommend the Hot Night Roll… And if you’re not afraid of a bit of heat, get it extra spicy. What makes this place even better, is the friendliness of the team who works there. Especially Grace, she is amazing.

This is my favourite sushi restaurant in the Walnut Grove/Port Kells area. I have tried most of them and as one reviewer already mentioned, the menus of all the sushi restaurants in the area are similar. What stands out? — So much imitation crab in the dynamite rolls. It’s delicious and borderline excessive. — The staff is friendly, kind and attentive. They even remember that my co-worker likes her sashimi sliced thinly and always get my separate take-out packaging requests right. — I often order take out for office team lunches. They are never stingy with soy sauce containers and wasabi like other sushi restaurants in the area. — Great price for the quality and quantity.

I absolutely adore this restaurant, some of the best sushi I have had. My husband and I come here at least once a week, I even make a little stop by for some take out during lunch while I am at work. It’s a little bit of a hidden gem as it’s in a weird location just outside the Port Kells industrial area. The owners and all the staff are fantastic, they are always so kind and polite and they are always appreciative of the business you have given them. Grace is almost always here and she is just an absolute joy. They make an effort to remember their customers, they even remembered that my husband and I recently had our wedding and they brought us out a little treat of some deep-fried ice cream just to show they care. Most of the time they bring you out some complimentary edamame to snack on as you’re waiting for your food, it’s just a bit of icing on the cake to top of their awesome customer service. I have never had a problem with the food, and they are totally willing to accommodate substitutions as well. My favourite is the tiger roll with a full order of sockeye salmon sashimi, usually with a miso soup and occasionally an avo-kappa roll. The red dragon roll is extremely awesome as well. All the food is absolutely delicious. I have been coming here for almost 5 years now, and every single time I leave I am extremely happy with the experience. Whenever we go out for dinner with friends, this is the place we most often take them and they are thrilled and keep wanting to go back for more. It is a smaller restaurant, it does get a little bit busier for them on weekends(I am so thrilled for them). There’s is almost always a table available, if not they try to accommodate you as soon as humanly possible. I definitely recommend this sushi restaurant and highly suggest that you try it out!

Love this place. Friendly, clean, and good. A bit higher prices than what this cheapie is used to but it’s worth it for a lunch treat!

Great and consistent sushi joint in Langley. The owners are awesome and the service is great. The quality on the sushi is noticeably higher then other sushi spots in the area and in the same price range. This has quickly become our new regular sushi spot.

Good sushi in Langley, Grace the owner is a lovely lady! I look for freshness, which is an absolute must for sashimi, so this place has it! The lunch box specials are more than you need for any meal and the sushi is made well, not huge rolls of rice! Nothing really stands out, but good for a little Japanese eatery in a strip mall in Langley. Note that the owners are Korean.

Our normal lunch-time sushi spot is Ra Sushi on 88th. We gave Simon Sushi a whirl. Was it good? Meh. Was it bad? Not particularly. It just was. The service was crazy slow. But they gave us a couple orders of Edamame on the house while we waited. The menu is almost identical to Ra. Which is kinda weird. I had the veggie box. They seemed to let me swap out the veggie roll for a yam tempura roll, but when my order came, I still had the veggie roll. So it’s possible they do substitutions, but maybe only when they remember. My coworker said the tuna was so cold it was frozen. The tempura was light and crispy. Bu the coating to my tofu teriyaki was kind of glue-y. Perhaps they left it out to long before serving it to us. For dessert, you get this tiny jug of a yogurt like drink. Japanese yop, i guess? It was tasty, but super sweet. Would i go back? Maybe. Maybe not. It was a little pricey, but the décor was nice. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again. But if I found myself stranded and starving out in front of the restaurant, there’s a 50⁄50 chance I’d go in.
