And closed… Never got a chance to… I wanted to try, but my Japanese wife was like, no way. Buffet is a great idea for somethings… for sushi, not so much. Too bad, hate to see anyone close down…

Went for my birthday dinner and was very impressed. Food was fresh and tasty, with real crab rolls and the best fried chicken I ever tasted… highly recommended

If you love sushi… save your $$ This place has the worst food and service!!! Can’t believe $ 5 for 5 skinny pcs of sashimi!!! If you want good sushi I recommend Sushi & Roll in Surrey(king george/101) or foe a buffet Sui Shai Ya in Coquitlam!

One of the worse buffets you can go to. Maybe 5 selections, old and dry(foods been sitting there for some time), and no one refilled the foods. I would not recommend this place. You’re better off going anywhere but here. For a sushi buffet this was very disappointing. The buffet inside cascade casino was the same price after signing up for an encore card and it was a lot better and food was filled as soon as it was touched.

Just finishing up lunch here now and it was so bad I had to post about it now. Came in at the start of the lunch buffet and will not come back. Food is all old and stale. Reheated and put back out. Only two meat dishes on the buffet and both were in a spicy sauce. Fries fish tasted old and stale. Deep fried wontons were so dried out from re-frying that they were inedible. Nothing fresh or flavourful. Would have been much more satisfied with a food court meal. Next time I’ll do just that. Stay away from here.

They are happy to TA-KE your money but there was no food. 6 spots for dim-sum but only something that looked like pork sui=mai and another spinach filled something I had to spit out. Literally all the Chinese dishes were empty. When they filled in the won-ton, it was pork with garlic(presumably to give it some flavor) which turned out to be easily the worst I have ever eaten. When I asked the cashier if he felt comfortable charging me the full price for what was offered he said he would get his manager. Manager never came. they took $ 7 off my bill. Lucky I live 5 minutes away because if it was 6 minutes I would have soiled myself. If you are constipated, this is the place for you, otherwise save yourself and TA-KE your hard earned cash elsewhere

Actually, I went there on Friday night. It has only 10 people. Not very well.

I was pretty excited when we walked in and saw sushi, dim sum, Korean/Chinese cuisine along with desserts! My kind of place! Its $ 19.95 for lunch and $ 22.95 for the dinner buffet. You can also choose to just have the sushi/salad/desert buffet for $ 14.99 which I thought was cool — they give you options if maybe you don’t like sushi and would rather just choose the Korean/Chinese food with desserts. Sashimi is extra which is sad. The dim sum was just OK — tasted like it was frozen previously. The sushi was good and everything was covered and was very clean. The Korean/Chinese cuisine was pretty good too — a wide range from gyoza to fried rice — they had spicy agedashi tofu that was pretty tasty as well. The won ton soup was just OK — tasted like it was made with a fish stock. The dessert table was limited — a few little treats that were obviously purchased and not made in house. There are free tea and pop as well. The restaurant is nice inside — roomy and classy looking. They can hold up to 200+ people if you’re looking to have a get together there. The hostess was really nice and polite cleaning up the plates and keeping everyone happy. I’m curious as to what the dinner buffet looks like. Its unfortunate that they don’t have any front parking — I think that might be why they are overlooked. If you’re driving by and see their sign you can’t just quickly turn in and check it out, you have to find somewhere to turn around and come back. They also do take-away which is nice. I think we will be back to try out something different next time now that we know what its all about. I’d recommend it to people for sure — its not spectacular but it was good enough for the money.

For 14.99??? Wow!!! Simply the best deal you can get for the price you pay for! All the food I have tried at TAKE is very high quality! I do lot of AYCE in metro vancouver area and THIS will be on my TOP5 restaurant you need to try! Interior and exterior of the restaurant is kinda like a Cactus Club or Earl’s with the layouts and atmosphere! I really enjoyed the lunch with my family! And definitely coming back with people in the future!!! ^____________^

Food is good. Make sure you come after 6:30pm for dinner as 4:3opm open has carry over food. As always buffet sushi is not that good. Good for people that don’t better. Sushi shouldn’t be sitting on cool plates for long amounts of time. Instead of the sushi chef standing around. Have him make smaller amounts on display and some on request. Traditional JAPANESE sushi is made fresh to eat. Not great but not bad. Could be $ 2 cheaper.

Average. The place does have some visual appeal, both inside and out. While the music wasn’t of any kind of Asian — style, it was relaxing and didn’t feel out of place. For the price of buffet, go for quantity and not quality. The food was okay with some eye catching features; mainly the sushi rolls. I did find the fish and chips to be out of place in a Japanese/Chinese/Korean — style buffet though. If you do have an interest in some overpriced buffet, check a map first. This place is easy to miss with only one access point off of 200th. Not likely to return. So sad.

Not worth the money $ 53⁄2 person Friday dinner. As we saw this resto open few months ago we want to try it out. I was very disappointed that there are not many sushi selections and most of the time it is almost empty. At $ 22.99/person buffet and no sashimi that is really a rip off. Food selection includes Chinese, Korean, pizza, mussel, tempura(cold, not crispy), sushi is not fresh and a small selection of dessert which includes jello hehe. Service is good. Atmosphere is comfortable and can be romantic depend on where u are sitting. I will stick with Jun sushi for AYCE sushi buffet.

One of the best buffets I have been to. The waiters and waitresses were kind and always helpful and they even gave my grandparents(who were very sick) a spicy dish cooked just for them. We did not even ask, the owner simply walked out with the dish after noticing they were coughing a lot. Love it and will come back

I went to this restaurant for the first time. We were greeted wormly. We tried almost everything there. Fresh sushi and sashimi. Tasty Korean food. Hot soup and Chinese dishes. We all agree the $ 28 for each of us was well spent. We didn’t experience like other people did, empty trays, hungry costomer chasing the waiter… etc. Why? Cause we got there before 5pm, beat the dinner crowd. Happy and full in ½ hour. And we see the crow coming in for dinner rush when we were leaving. I know it’s hard to keep up with full house of hungry guests! No matter how hard you try. That’s why I went there as soon as they open the door. So I can be relaxed, and turely enjoy and taste the food. Everthing was yummy and tasted thete. My suggestion, go there before the crowd.

Although the food was good, the challenge was actually getting it. The buffet was empty most of the night. Stuff that was on it, was old crusted and been sitting there all night. Whenever they would put something out, it was swarmed and gone again within moments. We were leaving feeling unsatisfied and disappointed when it came time to pay the bill. It was $ 30 a head for our dinner. For $ 60 for the two of us, we could have gone to pretty much any sushi restaurant and left feeling happy and full. I’m disillusioned at this experience and won’t ever be repeating it. My advice to those interested in trying this place is either go for lunch when the price is way less, or have a walk around the buffet and ask yourself if its worth the $ 30, but what you see is what you’ll be getting

Great value. Could not disagree more with other negative review. One must keep in mind this is a BUFFET so it is challenging to have sushi sit out and remain fresh. Saran wrap covers the platters of sushi… a little cumbersome. Decent assortment of sushi… an area of traditional Chinese… a variety of Asian salads… chocolate fountain… fruits…all for 20 $ per person… how can you beat that! Welcome to Langley!
