Sake Sushi

This is my favourite sushi place. Good food. Fast service. Efficient staff. Water glass was filled up constantly. Not much more you can ask for in AYCE sushi.

One of the best all you can eat sushi restaurant in Windsor in terms of food, and the service was OK. But we came in today, we were asked to write down our order on a piece of paper, so we wrote down the dish codes according to the menu, but the waitress said she cannot understand it, and we wrote down the dish names and specified the quantity, then she said we have to write sushi and sashimi separately so we have to write it again. We were starving and spent 20 minutes to write down our order and still had nothing on our table. Maybe they were short handed on that day and we can see they were busy, but why don’t they print out some menus with check boxes like other sushi restaurant did, that will save a lot of work for both employees and customers.

I enjoyed the sushi very much i loved how they had such a variety to choose from. Enjoyed that it was a buffet style dining, meaning you pay (i think around $ 25-​$ 30) for an all you can eat buffet. Although i found that the service was slow and would make you wait a long time between ordering. Also the restaurant was very tiny and cramped. Other than that i would eat there again.

The food was wonderful but the service was probably the worst I’ve ever had.
Would I come back? Nah

Wow what a find! We absolutely loved this restaurant. Good, fast service, great food. We will definitely be back. Honestly, very impressed.

I was amazed to learn that Windsor has decent ayce sushi at a good price. This certainly beats what used to be around. The fish is reasonably fresh, and the rolls well made. Just don’t expect the waiter to get your orders right, especially if you order a lot.

Im only giving this place three stars because of how great it used to be. Tonight I went to sake with my family and it was awful. The rolls were very sloppy, the service has gone dramatically down hill, and the chicken had the texture of barely cooked. There was at least four separate times tonight where our order went to a different table or our order came completely wrong. It wasn’t a good start when we ordered ice water without lemon and it came with lemons at the bottom of the glasses and it was room temperature. I seriously suspected that it was pored for another table and just forgotten about. I am completely done with this place. Hopefully they smarten up and hire some good staff again but until then, I’m not going back. Also, why the hell do they not have debit anymore? That’s just another nail in the coffin in my eyes.

Agree with others — best place for All-​you-​can-​eat sushi in the Windsor area (amused by those who complained about portion size — it’s AYCE: just order more!). While regular Sushi places will have better quality rolls, this place comes really close to matching that quality. You get something almost as good as the regular sushi places but you won’t end up «in the poor house» if you’ve got a real appetite.

Salmon Maki, and all non-​fried sushi was very good. Only think I did not like was that I ordered one thing on the menu that had no mention of it being deep fried (Volcano Roll), so I had to send it back. Service was very quick and waitress were very prompt. Their mango ice cream and all others were definitely a premium great brand unlike other Japanese places where the ice scream is always nothing special.

Had all you could eat option with first visit! Wonderful staff and fresh fish. Very busy but we were well looked after! Have done several take out orders for family group dinners since that first visit. Always correct order and on time. We will definitely visit this place again!

A pleasant surprise in LaSalle! Every order was brought correctly & fast (particularly compared to other all you can eat places in this area). Love out waitress! She was so nice & try to please that this place left me wanting to come back again and bump the rating from 4 to 5 stars.

Well, this was a nice surprise! If you’ve read any of my previous reviews on the All You Can Eat sushi places in Windsor, you’ll know that while I found 1 or 2 that weren’t «bad» I really didn’t expect to find something better than those. I’m not going to say this place is amazing, but in comparison to the other AYCE options in the Windsor area, then this is the best option,
The fish was fresh, they don’t give you a huge ball of rice with a skimpy piece of fish to just fill you up, and the service was really good. As noted by another reviewer, you order directly from the menu vs. checking off the items on a sheet of paper. Not sure if that makes the difference in getting every order correct — where all 3 of the other places always miss something — but it was working. And it worked well with servers that were pleasant and friendly. Not what you find in the other places where it seems like they are hating every moment they have to be there working.
I think price-​wise it may be a couple/​few dollars more, but for the better service and the higher quality fish, to me it’s worth it,
My only concern is that this place — being relatively new — doesn’t do what the others did. When the others first opened they were much better than they are today, I hope this place keeps going what they have, If so, I think they will be very successful.

Everything tasted ok and fresh but T I N Y! Other sushi restos in area have large rolls so that’s what I was expecting. $ 25 in sushi was barely an appetizer for 3 people.

Ordered a chicken teriyaki and a beef teriyaki. The menu said they were entrees but they were the size of an appetizer. It was just strips of meat on top of 3 pcs of broccoli and 3 chunks of carrots with an ice cream scoop of rice. For the amount that they charged i expected more food than that. Will not order from there again.

Great Location! A small, comfy restaurant to dine in. Their all you can eat option is pretty much the same as other AYCE locations. The only difference is that they take your owner on the spot instead of giving you a form to fill out. So it’d might be a bit confusing if you’re trying to order with a group of people.
Awesome customer service! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. If they gave you the wrong plate of food, they’ll have no problem fixing your order.
Right now they’re offering a 20% student discount! So bring your student ID cards! (If you’re getting the discount for the AYCE option, it’s about $ 4.00 off — so $ 19.88 total)
