I needed to pick up some cash at a RBC while in Laval and had no idea it was attached to this mall. After taking a walk around the mall my observations were the average age of shoppers here looked to be around 68– 72 years old. The shops reflected it. Perhaps it would be a great place to buy a Christmas gift for my senior aged Aunt but I don’t believe I would be shopping here otherwise. The busiest place in the mall appeared to be a Quebec licence bureau SAAQ. As per other locations, a very stale interior packed with people(wall to wall) and most looking like they wanted to be doing something else than be at the licence bureau. Next, after wondering where 30 minutes of your life went at the liscence bureau you can mozy over to the SAQ for some alcohol. There was also a Fu-Lam Chinese Buffett. You could smell the deep fried breaded food air wafting in the mall. I try to avoid these places as at times overload on fried food either puts me in a coma or gives me gut rut. Back to the mall review. The other main tenants are Pharmaprix and Metro. So if you prefer many of life’s necessities can be purchased here. It was an interesting discovery and experience plus a good study in geriatric sociological observations if you need some work for that undergraduate class of yours. Because of the SAAQ, bank and other shops, the parking was tough to find here but I scored a place. Just a bit further walk away on a Saturday.
