jetSet parking

I have been parking at jetSet for years in fact it's the only business I've ever used for parking at the Edmonton International Airport. I have mentioned to many of friends how convenient it is to park at jetSet. In fact I just recommended parking at jetSet to a close friend, today he told me that a gentlemen who he works with had his Catalytic Convertor stolen while parking at JetSet. Out of curiosity I went online and looked for reviews where this may have happened, I couldn't find any reviews on Catalytic Convertors being cut off so I thought I'd phone jetSet and hear what they had to say.

On April 23, 2022 at 8:40am. I phoned the 780-890-8625 number and talked to a fellow by the name of Allen, I told him that I used jetSet for all my parking and I wanted to know if they had any problems with theft of Catalytic Convertors his answer was "yes" I then went on to ask him if they were addressing this issue and he told me if I had a issue I should talk to the Edmonton Airport Authorities I'm not 100% sure of the name he mentioned re-Edmonton Airport Authorities but it was close to the mentioned name. I simply said that if customers knew that this was happing that they would most likely not park there as security of ones vehicle is important. This Allen was both rude and obnoxiousness on the phone, all he needed to say was we are addressing these concerns rather than go into a big spiel about if I had a problem I should talk to the Edmonton Airport Authorities.

Allen needs some serious customer relations training! I'm having serious reservations after this phone call with Allen as to whether I will ever park at jetSet again!

And yes Allen what I told you when I hung up still applies!

I got Rock Star Parking and a quick bus ride to my EIA gate what more could one ask for? The lot was well signed and the driver was friendly and helpful. Prepaying online was easy. I called first and was given a discount code too. Will use them again. I hope you can get good parking when you use them. Safe Travels

I’ve used the «you park» service a number of times now. I really like it. The buses come quickly and they stop for you if they see you’re making your way to the stop. You’re looking at about $ 11/​day for the service. It’s cheaper the more you book ahead so keep that in mind. I will say at times it can be pretty full and some spots you have some walking to do. They have a plug in for your car so that is nice.
Last time my car wouldn’t start and they have a booster car if you call the number in the shelter. Very helpful and the boost helped me get home. Good service. If only I can remember to book this service in advance of a couple of weeks to get a discount then I’d be even happier with what I see.
Tip: take a picture on your phone of where you parked you car. The night time and a weeks vacation can make you forget where you parked. ;)

Pretty average for the YouPark. The gate check out system screws up about 50% of the time. We’ve had a couple experiences where somehow the reservation card won’t work and we’re stuck waiting for help. Not fun on a cold winter night. On the plus side the boost truck was trolling around with regularity. The shuttle service can be inconsistent as others have noted but I’ve never waited longer than 10 – 15 minutes. The shuttle drivers help load and unload bags about 50% of the time as well. Haven’t had any major issues so the price keeps me coming back, esp the online discount codes.

I used them once thinking they would provide the service that they advertise — they don’t.
I scheduled on line and had to reregister once I got there since I didn’t know that I had to use a credit card to enter the lot.
When I returned I had to call for the bus after waiting 15 minutes. 3 buses from park and fly came and went in this time frame. When I got to the lot the driver had an attitude about whether the service that I used was called «valet» his term or «We Park» which was printed on my receipt. Finally told me to take it up with the people inside and they would straighten it out, they did.
My truck had only been started for a couple minutes, was not warm and was not what should have been.
I won’t use them again.

The price is the selling factor here. It is close to the airport, but often the buses don’t seem to be as regular (especially when you’re coming back to your car) as the other companies.
I have only used the «youPark» method — where I pick the parking spot and my car is in that spot when I get back. Call me paranoid, but it seems as though few people know how to drive manual transmission nowadays (I’ve even heard it called an anti-​theft device!) so I don’t trust mine with the «wePark» people.
For customer service, they are very good, having rectified billing errors and even experiential problems in the past. That said, they do seem to have some staffing issues that cause problems with the bus service.
All in all… I’ll use them again (and again), but if there was ANYTHING similar for the price, I’d take it.
FYI: if you book in advance (60+ days), you get a better rate. Even a couple of days in advance can get you 5%. A quick online search can find other coupons worth as much as 25% off.

I tried Jetset for over a year. When parking in the regular lot, the busses seemed to appear infrequently and unless I was right outside a kiosk station they didn’t seem intent on wandering the rows to find myself or others. The drivers were not willing to help you load your bags on the bus.
I then chose to upgrade my experience by using Valet, in hopes that it would speed up the process. It worked for the first flight and people came out and greeted me at my car and unloaded my suitcase from my car– I thought it was great!
Over the past 2 weeks, the VIP experience has become less than VIP as there are no longer people greeting you at your car anymore, helping with luggage and the waits inside to check in your vehicle seem dramatically long! When your car comes up the valet disappears in an instance and there’s simply no chance that he’ll load your stuff in your car for you. My last experience included nearly a 20 minute wait to be checked in, only to realize when I got to the front that there were 8 staff in the back room relaxing with nothing to do. The bus driver stopped/​sat at airlines no one was getting off at because he didn’t simply ask the individuals boarding what airlines they were on. I missed my flight consequently due to this whole event.
There are 4 other places to park at the Edmonton airport. You would think from my experiences above that this wouldn’t be the case. Good luck Jetset, you finally lost a customer. If you are using Jetset, keep your expectations low and allow plenty of time for dilly dallying prior to getting to the gate.

I was disappointed in this parking service. I chose the «Wepark» and booked online in advance, knowing I’d be tight for time coming from work.
I filled in all the information ahead of time, thinking to myself «How smart they are to get this out of the way in advance» Nope.
When I got there I came in to give my keys and instead of just handing them my keys and getting my ticket, I had to rehash ALL of the information I had given them in my pre-​booking. I asked directly why they couldn’t pull it from my reservation and was told «the system doesn’t work that way.» Then WHY on earth do they ask for it all online?!
On the way home I found out that the valet part only extends to leaving, not when you come back. I had my keys thrust at me by a woman who then walked away. I had to try way too hard to ask where the heck I was supposed to be finding my vehicle. She told me– out front in one of the first two rows.
So here I am– wandering around the parking lot dragging my luggage in the cold parking lot with massive amounts of ice (I did fall once and came close a million times). I’m close to tears as I wander around searching, and am finding nothing.
I finally resign myself to the embarrassment of going back inside and asking again, only to be told that my truck was in another area entirely. I eventually did find my truck, which I couldn’t warm in advance because they LOST THE BATTERY that was in my car starter.
This service is cheaper than most of the others, and I may try the version where I park my own car next time (at least I’ll be able to find it), but the wepark was a terrible experience. It should not be hailed as a valet service.

I’ve used Jet Set parking 5+ times in the past year and have had nothing but good experiences. That is until the last time…
I hadn’t had a chance to book in advance so I just drove in and got a ticket from the dispenser. Upon speaking to the staff at the office/​valet pick up building they gave me the quote and even suggested picking up a 20% off coupon that is given out at the info booth in the YEG airport. I picked up the coupon when I returned to wintery Edmonton and proceeded to pick up my vehicle. I got all the way to the exit booth and inserted my ticket. It then asks to scan any coupons/​discounts. I attempted, unsuccessful, for 5 minutes to scan my coupon. Finally I pressed the button for a live agent. After 20+ rings a girl answers and I explain my dilemma. She put me on hold for another 5 minutes and apparently we got disconnected so I had to call back. I get the same girl and complain about the disconnection and she denies that it was her. I re-​explain my problem and she says I have to go back to the valet building to get the discounted rate.
Now I was in serious disbelief and was very unhappy with the service I was receiving. I had to back up the one way drive way, re park my car near the entrance of the valet area and walk to the buliding. Once I got there I asked who answers the help line at the pay booths and there is a call centre in the YEG airport. How convenient, they aren’t on site and don’t feel any responsibility to assist their customers. I explain my problem for a 3^rd time and they proceed to tell me that the CS rep could have applied the discount right there and I didn’t need to come back to the valet building! I would rather not have heard that and it made me even more upset. Finally they apply the discount, I walk all the way back to my car and get the hell out of that godforsaken lot.
I was still late for a lunch appointment because of this 25 minute delay. And all they did was give me another 20% off coupon.
Now on a positive note they are very close to the airport, the shuttle buses are much more frequent then their competitors, and if your battery dies they have a truck that drives around the lot to give you a complimentary boost. Of course they have outlets so you can plug your car in and prevent a frozen engine block.
I will use them again but I won’t forget that bad user experience. This would have been a 5 star review otherwise.

A good parking lot but I don’t think I would ever use them in winter again. We have had a winter holiday the last 2 years. Last year I didn’t plug-​in my truck and when we returned it was dead. Jet Set does offer a free boost service which is nice but we had to wait about two hours before they finally came out to boost us.
This year I though i would be smart and plug my car in and bring a battery charger and booster pack in case it was dead again. Again we cam back to a dead truck, even with it being plugged-​in. Granted it was a huge deep freeze in Edmonton and we arrived back at –30C. I decided to try my booster pack. It didn’t have enough juice to start the truck. So I try plugging-​in my battery charger. No go! The plug-​ins must be on a rotation cycle or engage at a certain temperature (it was –30 so i was hoping they would be active). The plug-​ins weren’t active so I couldn’t even use my charger on my battery. Our only hope was to have Jet Set boost us again.
We called the office and they said they were very busy boosting lots of other people and it would be awhile. I think we waited 1.5 hrs this time before their guy came. I asked him how their plug-​ins worked (i.e. rotate on an off every hour or by temp). He didn’t know or wouldn’t say. We did get boosted but my battery was frozen solid and it took a good overnight charge before it was brought back to normal.
We have decided that we aren’t going to use this lot in winter again. Just as easy to take a cab/​shuttle to the airport and leave my vehicle tucked inside a garage.
TLDR: I would not park my car/​truck here in winter again.

This is a new-​ish parking lot at the Edmonton International Airport. It looks like it’s really far away from the airport (first left at the lights when exiting QE2 southbound), but trust me, it’s awesome. Why? Let me tell you:
1) If you are flying WestJet, you can check in right there! You can drop off your luggage to the attendant just like if you were in the airport.
2) Cheaper than the regular airport lot parking. Park yourself for $ 9.50/day or they will valet park for $ 11 (something like that).
3) Save $$ with coupons from their website. Apparently you can also save if you reserve your spot ahead of time, but I didn’t see a difference in price.
4) Frequent shuttle buses to and from the airport, plus there are several different drop-​off spots within the parking lot.
5) A cell phone lot where you can wait for up to 45 minutes if you are picking someone up. Free!
6) A nice waiting area inside with couches, water and coffee.
Highly recommended!

This is the only parking lot I use when parking at the Edmonton International Airport as I’ve had no issues so far. The staff are quite friendly and always have a smile on their faces when they show up in the shuttle. It’s also about as close as you can get to the airport without parking at the airport.
At about $ 10 per day or $ 50 per week, the rates are very reasonable and the whole system is pretty technologically advanced. You can book online using a credit card and that same credit card would be used to enter the parking lot. They have heated bus shelters, and most parking spots have a power outlet in case you want to plug your car in – very useful during the dead of winter. You can also check in at the bus shelter or if traveling with WestJet, check in your luggage near the entrance of the parking lot. I haven’t used that service yet. I guess I have trust issues. According to the website the shuttles run every 5 minutes to the airport. A more realistic expectation might be every 10 or so minutes and I’m sure it depends what time of day it is. Shuttles going back to the parking lot from the airport seem fairly frequent.
jetSet also offer two types of parking, youpark and wepark. I haven’t tried wepark but it’s basically valet. I guess it might be convenient in the winter because the car will be warm. It’s also good to know that they give you discounts the earlier you book, ranging from 5% to 20% off. Follow their Twitter for additional coupon codes. I’m hoping they come back with another code for 99% off as they did last fall!
