I’ve only ever ordered takeout from here, but it’s excellent. I order the small sushi boat, which is 36 pieces of my favorites, for a reasonable price. It’s prepared quickly, and presented quite well for takeout. Of all the sushi places I’ve visited in London, this is my favorite thus far.

Nice modern décor with lots of staff. All you can eat Asian buffet that is brought to the table for you You order off the iPad, great ordering what you want, when you want and how many times you want for reasonable lunch pricing. Great quality and selections of food to order.

I have been here quite a few times since it opened in London. It has gone downhill the last two times I went. The service downgraded. The fish was not as fresh as used to be. I got food poisoning the last time I went.

Came here with friends on Victoria Day! I really liked this place for their food and quick service. We got seated and served really fast. We ordered on iPad and food came out fast too. We got sashimi set($ 18) and salmon lover set($ 18). The sashimi set includes steamed rice, garden salad and miso soup. Salmon lover set only includes garden salad and miso soup. The fish were nicely cut and they were decent size. The only thing I didn’t like about this place was that after we finished eating they came over and kept asking if we wanted anything else and if we wanted the bill in a 15 time span. I disliked that a lot because I felt rushed. So I didn’t end up ordering desserts. Therefore, an overall of 3.5 stars.

Very fast and efficient service, great quality food and good staff. I only wish they had certain items on the menu but overall worth the weekend lunch trip!

Service is fast and you get to choose from an ipad. No sashimi for lunch but the selection is pretty good. I’ve seen more choices at other places but I would still come back for the fast service and easy selection with the ipad just for shits and giggles!

You will be able to live an entirely fulfilling life if you never eat at this restaurant. Service poor. Sushi is pretty hard to really screw up, but they do here.

Decent selection of menu items. I did like a lot of their non-sushi items surprisingly! Their sushi items however are not anything special. The sashimi and fish itself were fine, but I hated the quality of their rice. Call me picky but this really did ruin the experience of their rolls and sushi for me, as the rice was a combination of too sticky/moist/bland. Service was ok and the food comes pretty quickly.

I dined at Heart Sushi shortly after their grand opening and was semi disappointed. The inside was modern and clean, the iPad menu ordering was a cool concept, but several of the items we ordered came out looking nothing like the photo, nor did they taste like the description. After that visit I would have given it 2 stars, but luckily some friends decided to eat here a few months later and so I tagged along. They had also eaten here before and knew what was good, so we stuck to what we liked instead of ordering the entire menu. If you stick to what you like rather than ordering a wide spread, I would say it’s one of the best places in London. The Vegas roll was the best! The edamame(although near impossible to screw up) and the cheese wontons are also great appetizers. The seafood crab salad with corn was one of those things that looks nothing like the photo. You can’t go wrong with the desserts and they offer more than most places who only offer mousse cake and ice cream. All in all, give this place at least two tries before making a decision. Once you find what you like, you won’t be disappointed.

My first time was amazing, was amazed at the service and how good the food was. Was busy but not insane. My boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday night, it was busy but not insane. The waiters didn’t really say much to us, the food looked very rushed and sloppy, and their all you can eat dinner price went up to $ 28 a person which seems a bit ridiculous. Probably won’t back.

Very good! Fast service. iPads are efficient and you can tell what you got and what is still coming! Also tells you exactly what’s in each roll. A little pricier than other ayce’s in London but imho — worth it! The salmon sashimi was very fresh and melted in our mouths!!! Fried banana for dessert was topped with maple syrup and was a nice completion to the meal.

My first adventure at Heart Sushi was excellent. The food was served in very visually pleasing way. Everything we ordered was wonderful. The only glitch was when we were seated the table still had food on it and needed to be cleaned. The young man who seated us said it had been cleaned just not very well. He said it was really busy and our waiter would be right over. This was not satisfactory so I got out my hand sanitizer and used my napkin to clean the table. They need to realize that half assed is not good enough when it comes to cleanliness!

When this place is busy like majority of sushi places the service does tend to lack. We were seated and ordered food and didn’t receive water till half way through the meal after asking several times. The quality wasn’t anything special compared to other sushi restaurants but still good. It’s up there on my list of places to go to for sushi that has a large variety of foods for people I bring that aren’t completely into sushi but are into the teriyaki and currys. Will give it another try.

I visited Heart Sushi with a friend over the Christmas holidays. The pricing was reasonable for an all you can eat sushi place, portions were quite small and you often had to order more(i.e. if you order coconut shrimp, you get one shrimp). The rock and roll was probably the best I have ever had, the wonton soup was really good. Service was fast and friendly. I will definitely go back.

Usually go to this sushi place but this experience was disappointing. When we ordered our food, they did not bring it to us. Not sure if they gave it to someone else or not but we ended up waiting for our food that never came. Also, it took forever for our dessert to come and when we asked the gentleman for our bill and ice cream, a server pretty much threw our ice cream on the table. Like I said, I’ve had a positive experience here before but I’m not sure what the negative energy was about this time.

Eating sushi here was like a crazy roller coaster. Some foods deserve a standing ovations while others were inedible. The portions they serve are small, which worked out for me since I wanted to try a little bit of everything. I also didn’t like how the food was inconsistent. I got the Tom Yom soup the first time and it was delicious. Everything in it was so fresh and the fish sauce in it was nicely balanced. When I ordered it again, they overdid it with the fish sauce and it tasted horrific. The stand out item that I will always remember though is the fried banana. That thing was super delicious, and honestly the best way to end a meal.

Went on a Thursday early afternoon so I don’t think it was as busy as it could be. That being said, service was a little slow though. Aesthetically, it’s a really nice restaurant with hanging balloon-shaped glass lights at the booths! I’m no sushi connoisseur, but I thought the food was decent. A good variety of desserts and food choices. The portions are all smaller which I was surprised by at first, but came to like later on because that way you don’t become too overwhelmed or end up biting more than you can chew(literally!). Random but they’re chicken pad thai are small-like appetizers and taste really good. Edamame was a bit too salty for my liking.

Very very busy place, especially on the weekends. I would say this is one of the better places in London for sushi but it comes with a higher price. $ 14.99 lunch on weekdays and $ 17.99 lunch on weekends and holidays. The portions here are very small which I actually liked about this AYCE restaurant. You literally get a forkfull of seaweed salad or whatever appetizers you get. If you order edamame, you get like 8 pieces. Since the portions for these items are small, it’s a nice way to prepare for your sushi coma. For the sushi, the ratio of rice and filing is awesome– more filling less rice! The size of the rolls are actually quite smaller than other AYCE restaurants but again, that’s a plus for me. It allows you to eat more variety. The only problem I have with is the price and management. The manager seems so rude and doesn’t treat their employees nicely(at least from what I saw). I’m not sure if I would come back again despite the food tasting good.

What a great sushi place. Great food, good service and very clean atmosphere. Would highly recomend this shushi place. Already planning a trip to the Mississauga location. We were in London shopping for the day and ended up at this HEARTSUSHI by mistake but glad we did. There was a Sushi place down the street that we almost ate at but they were to busy. Kind of glad because Heart Sushi was great. Can’t say enough about this great sushi place.

I think some of the bad reviews posted earlier are a bit unfair — when a place first opens it takes a while to get things up and running so you need to cut the place some slack while they iron out the creases. However, judging by our experience last night they’ve already got the hang of it — service was friendly and really quick, I found there to be a better selection than other AYCE places and the fish was extremely fresh. There is a lot of tempura crumbs in some of the rolls, but there is a wide selection of rolls without crumbs to choose from including dynamite roll and rainbow roll. The place itself is spotless and very modern, I didn’t see any flies like a previous reviewer noted. The price is comparable to other AYCE places. This will probably be my new go-to AYCE sushi place out of the ones I’ve tried in London so far!

I am so glad I took the chance and tried Heart Sushi. It was fantastic. The staff were friendly, attentive and quick. The manager greeted us and told us how to use the iPads. The rolls were delicious. They were fresh and looked amazing. One thing that really stood out was that the staff told us which items were which and checked in to ensure we got all the items we ordered The sashimi was served on ice and in a really neat light up cup. The chicken and steak teriyaki were gigantic compared to other places. They are definitely made for sharing. My wonton soup was also fantastic. Perfect ratio of broth to wontons and great flavour. I will definitely be back. This place made a great impression on me and I look forward to coming back.

Service: 1⁄5 Food: 2⁄5 Atmosphere: 4⁄5 Service was super slow and unorganized. My friends and I were there for 3 hours because our orders didn’t come out or came out at random times(e.g. my friend ordered pad thai during our first round of orders but it didn’t come out until we were about to leave). Our orders somehow went missing even though it was in their iPad system. Our lunch became so hectic as we were busy trying to figure out what food was missing/reordering. At the end, we gave up and asked the waitress to cancel our entire order. Food was nothing special/disappointing. Some of the sushi rolls we ordered didn’t have much flavour and they were falling apart as people were picking them up with chopsticks. Also, one of our sushi pieces only had tempura flakes in it. The only thing I enjoyed was the dragon roll(we ordered more but… it didn’t come). Overall, I had an unpleasant experience.

Food was decent, service was ridiculously slow. What should have been a 45 minute meal turned into two hours as we received each part of our order piecemeal. Also, they have their own personal ATM at the front of the restaurant with a $ 1.75 fee, so they don’t take debit at the table. No sign posted alerting you to this beforehand. Feel ripped off, will not be returning.

Ah I’m so glad I didn’t get dejected and not go there cuz of the previous reviews. It did make me go there with no expectations, good or bad which I guess is a good thing. First things first. The place itself super clean, modern interior. No smell or flies as noted by earlier reviewers. Super polite and very fast service.(Granted there were only like 10 –15 more people after our large group of 8). But I’ve been to other places where it wasn’t ½ as quick. Servers were very polite. I recall one of us mentioned how awesome the chips were and a server joked with us telling us that they were all out of chips with a straight face. Then he went to the back and came out with a tray of em! Comin down to the food. Unlike some other AYCE places, I’ll give that the options they have for Sashimi /Nigiri /Sushi are limited. Just less. Dynamite rolls are there for sushi folks. Sushi rolls were formed nice. The sashimi seemed fresh. Quite enjoyed it. The Nigiri though, while it was nice. I felt it was too small in size. The Beef Short Ribs quite good as were the grilled eggplant. The satay was just alright. Nothing to write home about. I did get good reviews from others about the cheese wontons(but c’mon how can that not be good!) The desert! Besides the basic Japanese Icecreams, the coconut was amazing! The Lychee Moose(it’s legit like one bite) so good. The Mango Pudding was delicious! All in all a pretty fun and good dinner.

I was recently visiting a friend in London and tried the new Heart Sushi. I was impressed by the food and the interior design. I wasn’t going to post a review, until I saw a couple of negative reviews that read as if they could have been composed by employees of other restaurants. I usually go to Japanese restaurants about 3 times a week and have eaten at about 25AYCE Japanese restaurants across Ontario including the very first Heart Sushi in Mississauga(it won a Unilocalie award about a year ago) and the very first 168 Sushi in Brampton. I especially enjoyed the sashimi, the coconut shrimp, the salmon tataki, the kalbi, the salmon salad, the hot and sour soup, the tuna sushi, the bbq salmon sushi and the bbq escolar. Most sushi joints falsely describe escolar as white salmon. the deserts were also enjoyable. The kitchen items that I tried were delicious. Portions are small, so you can try several items. The first negative review was by a person who recommended 168 Sushi and Wonder Sushi. I first met the President of 168 Sushi when he opened his first restaurant at 168 Kennedy Road in Brampton. He is an astute restaurant operator and continually updates his restaurants. It appears that the owners of Heart Sushi also know him. After my meal, I chatted with one of the owners of Heart and was informed that the President of 168 had visited Heart in London and had praised the food. He also had the head chef at 168 eat at Heart as he wanted him to follow the practice of offering small portions. I am rather pleased that Bobby agrees with me on the merits of the food at Heart Sushi.
