My go-to place for Korean comfort food. Gamjatang(pork bone soup) is me and many of my friends’ fave; reasonably priced and staff is nice.

Went there and got Jajangmyeon and Ddokbeokki… The taste was okay. Not that bad but not that tasty… The food tasted a little bland. The fish cake(side dish) was a little bit dry. I gave this place 3 stars just because I love the service. The server was very friendly and accommodating. The store was very tidy and cozy although the place was very small. And also it’s affordable there.

Previous visits were nice and great… This visit was just a big disappointment and a big one star rating… Won’t visit here again during summer.

Went there and got the pork bone soup which often is a good indicator of how good a Korean restaurant is. They were busy so food came kind of slow. Side dishes are another Korean specialty, the variety of side dishes depends on the restaurant and this place gave us 4 which is decent. They also gave us a refill on those side dishes which is always nice(just ask!). However I gotta say the kimchi was REALLY sour and we couldn’t finish it. Onto the main course, the pork bone soup. The broth was up to standard, but the meat to bone portion was a bit disappointing and also not enough potatoes. The price was slightly expensive than what I usually see but I suppose its typical for London. Overall decent experience, I may come back again if I’m in the area.

I saw this Korean restaurant on Unilocal and I went to have a try for the four stars rating. Space was tiny but very tidy and clean. It was so warm and cozy here in such a snowy night. Service was so excellent. A lady served us with passion and enthusiasm! She recommend us dished which we often had in the U.S. It was so fast that our dishes came. Tastes were ok. Maybe a little over priced. But consider their good service and environment. It was nice to try. Just with a normal expectation.

Kimchi house is truly delicious and stays authentic to its roots. It’s reasonably priced and that in itself is already a feat in London where all ethnic cuisine is overpriced, lacking in quality or both. During my visit, I had my all time favorite dish ‘soon tofu jigee’ also known as soft tofu stew. It comes with a bowel of wild rice and soft while rice mix, and the common side dishes as well. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the stew, perfectly seasoned. I can tell it’s going to be good when i see that it’s still bubbling when it arrives at my table. Don’t let the bright red color scare you, it’s not as spicy as you think, and you can always ask for a milder version of the fare if you wish. All in all, the best Korean food I’ve had in London yet.

This is right up in my neighbourhood so I’m here often. The japchae is such a great go to dish. Another option is the Kimchi Pancake and I’m a big fan of the side dishes that they provide. Their gamjatang is quite delicious and excellent on a cold winter’s day. The restaurant is a bit on the small size and can get packed which leads to some long wait times, but that’s the only criticism I can think of. I definitely prefer this place to many of the other Korean restaurants in London. Will be returning soon.

The food was not as good as when Mana first opened. However the owner tried to serve the guest at her best so thumbs up for her. One important tip for you is that from time to time they try to charge you for something you ddidnt order, plus if she tells you the bill does not include tips it actually DOES! dishonest owners are huge turn offs for me and they do it almost every time. That is why I stopped going.

I don’t know what’s taken me so long to do a review of this place, it’s basically been my second home. Moving from LA to London has been hard, especially since I’m no longer within driving distance from family members and restaurants that will feed me delicious Korean food. After a lot of complaining, someone up there in food heaven heard me. When this glorious establishment opened up, I was welcome with the taste of home. From their Tofu Kimchi, to their stews, to their bibimbap, I was doing a happy jig inside my head. The family that runs the place is really friendly and welcoming. The place is usually packed with more Koreans, which is always a good sign for a Korean restaurant. I am happy to say that after a good couple of months, they hired more staff, hopefully meaning that they are here to stay, or else my poor Korean body may just shrivel up and die from mal-Korean-nutrition
