We havr eaten here many times, and always enjoyed the food. The owners of this restaurant/small grocery are extremely pleasant and accommodating, if you enjoy a good meal and at a relaxing pace, this is for you.

I thought I’d stop in for lunch, sometimes I like to try new things! I have to say, the food was amazing. The seafood pad Thai was a good sized portion and the shrimp was cooked perfectly! The place appears to be under new ownership. The owner and staff was very friendly. If you haven’t been to this restaurant since it changed hands five months ago you should give them a try! Very reasonable prices too!

Knowing that I miss my mom’s cooking and feeling a little under the weather, my boyfriend wanted to treat me to some Vietnamese cuisine. We settled on Que Huong. This place doubles as a Vietnamese grocer and ran by an older couple. A small, simple, plain restaurant with reasonable prices. We were the only other couple there so service was quick. As a starter, we ordered the beef skewer which was very flavourful and delicious. I ordered phở, and my boyfriend, the vermicelli bowl. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavour of the phở. It tasted a little different than the most places. The toppings were a little skimpy but price reflects it. I was impressed by my boyfriend’s vermicelli bowl, not because of the spring roll and bbq pork but cause of the other toppings and fish sauce. The flavours really hit close to home. The spring roll was like everywhere else, boring and blah, and the pork was the same. We were very happy with our meals. Dinner included one appetizer, one drink, two mains for $ 25, how can you lose?

Been to this place a few times and my experiences have been mixed. The Vietnamese curry chicken with vermicelli noodles was stingy on the meat and noodles and had too much broth(and the broth could’ve used more curry flavour). The chicken on the stick appetizer(can’t remember the name) was really greasy. And the phở was kind of bland(it even looked watered down). However, their smoothies are excellent, their spring rolls are nicely crispy, and their bun(vermicelli) dishes are fresh and flavourful. Their pad thai and other stirfry dishes were also nice. The servers are consistently kind and the last time I went there, they added a section to their place where you can purchase Vietnamese groceries like coconut milk, rice noodles, chili sauce, etc. Not a bad place overall but not the greatest either. Also, it will take a while for you to receive your food(and bill).
