Always have a good meal here. The calamari can be hit or miss sometimes though. The service is always great and love the drink specials. We just moved down the road but even before we lived in the area, we still came to The Black Sheep a few times a month. Love that they expanded, but now need a bigger parking lot lol

Delicious food, comfy surroundings, and great service! There’s a reason the parking lot is full most nights. The food is plentiful and with lots of diverse options. My parents used to go here when it was in the old location when they were young. Now it’s bigger and more modern, but still with that local watering hole vibe. Definitely check it out!

You usually don’t find me out here in the MIDDLE OF NO WHERE, and I can kinda call this bar to be that. I really wasn’t gonna go to the party that my friend was having here, but I went anyways because I didn’t want to stay home.
When I first drove up the the bar, almost every car here was a pick-​up truck. SO MANY OF THEM, and tbh I shouldn’t be surprised since it is out of the city, and it makes sense. I saw my party and I sat with them without waiting, but I was sticking out like a sore thumb when I walked up to the door, the hostess greeted me in when I said my friends were here.
The most amazing thing that really poked out at me was the décor. Like HOLY COW! Did you look up? There are GARGANTUAN liquor bottles. I was like holy shit… what did I walk myself into… Why did this place feel so awesome and fun? I thought this was a blue neighborhood bar, filled with white people… But I was wrong. The waitress was extremely friendly with our table even though it was a large party. My cocktails were delicious, and I had so many wings that I was extremely full at the end of the night. I tried all the flavours with my friends.
I really didn’t expect such a fun bar in the middle of no where. This was a surprise, and if I were to be out there again, this is the place I would go with my friends~!!

Great prices, consistent, great food, friendly staff, wicked atmosphere and newly renovated. A+, definitely the best pub in Maple Ridge. Have quite a few taps but I’d like to see them rotated once in a while. It’s always busy but it doesn’t affect the service and there is plenty of seating.

was there yesterday, also first time been there. The best western food restaurant I have been ever. Big portion food with amazing price. Nice and warm bar area within a beautiful neighborhood. Highly recommended.

Terrible service. Walked in and was ignored by every employee for about 5 minutes. Walked out without being seated.

Black sheep pub is a wonderful pub it’s a good place to go get some food and have some good times with your friends it’s a nice place service is really good I specially like they’re black and cheeseburger soufflé pineapple deluxe burger it’s more than one person should be allowed to eat legally bylaw but I love it so much I give it a real good go and I get The bucket of fries and a bucket of popcorn shrimp and sometimes I have the roast beef and the chicken with the owes you in the gravy and sometimes I have the pasta linguine with the seafood sauce is just pure heaven I just love it there so much and I have beer with Clamato sauce and that’s really good to kind of taste like the beers made into spaghetti sauce when she got the Camaro

Black Sheep Pub is probably one of Maple Ridge’s best kept secrets. It’s the king of all pubs. A treasure trove of better beers and wines (partially owing to how they keep a liquor store out back) and the place to be for timeless nights.
I can not recommend any particular dish. Anything you order will not only taste better than its equivalent at another pub, its presentation will also be a real nice crowd pleaser.
If you don’t like Black Sheep Pub, you don’t deserve to be out on this side of town.

Been coming here for many years, Go between 3 – 6 p.m. to take advantage of happy hour prices and special menus selections, Sometimes Nothing appeals to us on the happy hour food menu, but my wife always enjoys the cheap beer price on her Sin City brew. one of her favorites is the Portobella burger and and the pub fries. I like the ‘Shrimp Bucket.’ The shrimp on the top of the bucket are delish, but it is really a bucket-​o-​fries. WAY more than anyone could/​should eat. A little loud, but it is a pub… Wait staff is pleasant always in good mood, if not they hide it well, lol, food comes out really fast. Overall it’s always a good experience for me…

Great food great service! Daily specials are always awesome. The daily soups are wonderfully rich and tasty. Crab night Tuesday .99 p/​leg. Go early or they do run out. Not all seats are good for watching the game.

Always great service and they have excellent lunch specials ($ 5.99 plus beverage). Lots of T V’s for sports!

Joining the family for a birthday dinner a few Saturdays ago, we decided to go to the Black Sheep Pub. Crowed and hoppin’, it looks like it’s the place to be in Maple Ridge on a Saturday evening. We only had to wait a short while for a table, and had our drink order taken immediately (Guinness on Tap), and within a few minutes, got our table.
Most of the servers were running around crazy trying to get everyone served and fed, and you had to give it to them for the hustle and bustle — well; all except our server. I really wish I had gotten her name, as she was rude, curt, and always unsmiling. It actually was the worst part of our meal.
I had a (Lightly Breaded) Halibut burger, but it was VERY heavy on the breading, but tasty, and sweet potato fries which could have used a few more minutes of cooking. Other than that, everyone seemed fairly happy with their meal.
I’d go back, but if I saw our previous server, I’d ask for a different section.
