Haney Public House

We always go on Fridays for happy hour and half price apples. Probably one of the only pins I’ve been in in Maple Ridge where my server comes to the table to offer me another drink before my current is empty. (My pet peeve is an empty glass! lol) Love the stuffed Yorkies!

Cheap prices, big portions, friendly staff and very chill atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place to everyone all the time. (PS the nachos are HUGE!)

The hay public hose is a very public place it is where you want to come when you want to be not in private but in public the public house will serve you public drinks and public food John Doe public might even be there as well as Jaindl public I feel so public while I’m here it is a wonderful place they serve food of the highest quality and the staff are wonderful and empathic in their service they will jump to the pump to serve you, unless you have manifested your righteousness! I manifested my soul and was treated with regard for human dignity, so come here an consume the drinks and sustain acne it will please your very soul!!!

I’ve been twice for the Tuesday snow crab and appies specials and it was great for decent priced food at a pub. Service is pretty slow but it gave me a chance to spread out my meal over an entire hockey game instead of just one period. Worth checking out if you like crab!

New but old.
Made the trip to Maple Ridge, paying the big bucks to use the new Golden Ears bridge. Went so some friends and I could check out the new Don Cherry Sports Grill in Haney, but seeing as how that was a disaster of a trainwreck of a dead end street, we turned around and looked for something else. Ended up driving by this big new looking place, though I suspect it was in reality old but reno’d recently…
Its big inside… no one greeted us so we walked around for a bit and sat ourselves. Long Island was cheap… $ 4.25 :) and tasted like their was a little bit of booze in it, so not bad. Server was good until we switched to pepsi instead of booze to go wit hour meals… we got appys as well, not like we ordered fries and a beer and sat there for 2 hours… so yes she turned kind of ‘meh’ on us after that, and also my friends burger arrived very pink/​red and had to ask for it to be taken off the bill, as well he had ordered yam fries and they sent him regular ones. She did take the burger off the bill but left the yam fries on? I should add the rest of the food was fine, nothing spectacular, but fine. But the service left a lot to be desired.
Not an area I frequent so needless to say they didn’t impress enough to return.
