As a photographer myself I knew without a doubt that when it came to our budget that photography was going to be number one on that list. I love so many photographers of all different styles; but Matt’s style of photography really spoke to us and when we met for coffee to talk wedding details we knew in a heart beat that he was our man!
He made us feel so special from start to finish with little gifts that where such a lovely surprise and so very appreciated. Going above an beyond doing whatever it took to get the one perfect shot. Making two awkward people, one who prefer to be behind the lens and the other who has no clue how to be posing, feel so comfortable in front of the camera.
At the end of the day when the «I do’s» have been said, the food is all gone, the guests have left, everything has been cleaned up and put away… all we are left with are our photographs to document everything that happened that day. It’s over so fast and hard to remember each and every single detail but whenever I want to relive that amazing day all I have to do is look through our gallery and all those emotions: the anticipation, excitement, happiness, SURPRISE. All of it comes back because he captured our day beyond perfectly.
Matt we will never, never be able to truly put into words how much we love our wedding photos and we cannot thank you enough for the amazing work you did.

I met Matt in California at a photographer’s conference; he was one of the key note speakers. I immediately liked his style of teaching and the passion he had both for photography and helping other photographers grow. Since I’m fairly a new photographer, I signed up for his mentoring session. After chatting with him for few minutes (through Skype) I knew I was in good hands. He was able to teach me some crucial details about starting a photography business, he showed me why I should charge what I charge and that I need to value my time. Matt pushed my business in the right direction by helping me change both big and small things that I thought were not important. Sessions with Matt were laid back; it was as if I was talking to a long time friend. I attended my brothers wedding in Cancun and was a pleasure to meet Matt! He is so warm and personable yet professional at the same time. After the ceremony, he had photos he had already taken and edited on a slideshow for everyone to see at the reception. This was a great touch as I’ve heard of people having to wait months for their wedding photos! The photos he took are absolutely breathtaking. The beach is an easy place to make look beautiful but, Matt has the magic touch to make photos look like pieces of art!

Matt is amazing! He has such a relaxed and fun personality and makes having your pictures taken a treat.
We had Matt take our extended family pictures in the fall of 2013 in Pitt Meadows down by the Fraser. Within an hour or two, he had taken a PILE of amazing pictures of my parents, my brother & his family & my family. He even asked us to do some things that I thought were silly but they looked amazing in print. He also took some fun candid shots of us, which we weren’t aware that he was taking that added to the experience.
After the wedding is over and the kids have grown up, the only thing that is left are the memories and amazing pictures. Pictures with Matt are the best INVESTMENT any wedding couple or family can make. You will NEVER be disappointed with Matt!!!

We were one of those couples who were really indecisive and bless Matt Kenendy for having the patience to deal with us. Even on our wedding day, we ran into some timeline issues and Matt was a true professional and waited for us on Granville Island without letting it affect his work. Not only was he quick to snap pictures, but he captured many candid moments that we will have from our wedding day for the rest of our lives. You are going to love Matt, his easygoing personality and his infectious smile. His positive attitude and love for his work will put you at ease. Thank you for all the awesome pictures you took for us. My only regret was not booking you for the entire day.
