The Frogstone Grill

Came here with my husband and kids on a Tuesday. Good house made, fresh food. We all enjoyed it which is a definite win. Kids loved the rubber frogs that came with their mini milkshakes!

I love the ribs,. The staff is great. It would be nice if they had a good strip loin steak on the menu.

Had lunch there and was ill for days after… service slow

Haven’t been to Frogstone in years and decided to give it a go with a friend. Restaurant was relatively empty which did not surprise me. We were sat quickly and given menus which were extremely dirty and sticky. Found quite a few things we were interested in trying… Sat there for about 5 minutes while servers walked by us blatantly. No water or anything was received. A table was sat directly across
from us and as the server walked past us she looked right at us and continued on her way. 5 more minutes go by and the table that was sat across from us was served water, cutlery and drink orders were taken. Tried to catch the servers eye however it was almost as if she were angry at us and purposely ignoring our table. I looked at my friend and asked if we should leave (she has been a server for almost 10 years and knows what sort of service is to expect.) We decided to wait another 2 minutes and low and behold… Not one single person came to our table. Frustrated we gave up and as we walked out of the restaurant the 4 hostesses/​wait staff turned their heads to the ground and promptly ignored us without a word.
I have absolutely no idea how this place is still in business. Have spoken to people that work there and they agree that it is a terrible place to dine.
Will 100% never return. Was quickly reminded why no one frequents there. Terrible.

Love coming here. It’s a great place to come with my boys or for a nice meal for 2. We have always had great food, friendly welcoming service, and love that it’s close to home. I had the Breakfast french toast last time — just amazing– and have had a variety of other meals including the tacos and have never been disappointed. Keep it up guys and we’ll keep coming!

Ah, the Unilocaler dilemma… I so wish I could assign zero stars to this backwards establishment, but one will have to do. This might be a «family style» restaurant, but they certainly do not honor families. They have compared nursing mothers with exotic dancers, and vowed to continue to discriminate against the natural feeding of babies unless mom is covered. For those of you reading this who have no experience with nursing babies and mothers, let me educate you: many babies don’t like eating under a blanket. I certainly wouldn’t. Breasts are specifically intended for nursing, not for the male gaze. That’s not to say that breasts aren’t beautiful and attractive, but women should not be punished for using these fantastic tools for their intended purpose. Nursing moms like to eat away from home sometimes, too! Babies get hungry frequently — especially nursing babies. Just mind your own business, or better yet, be supportive, and maybe you can make mom’s day a little bit brighter! If you care about health, about family values, about not supporting true ignoramuses, then you should avoid this eatery. There are plenty of other choices. If you are an ignoramus yourself, then by all means you should congregate with your tribe.

Neither my daughter or I will be eating here again. If babies can’t breastfeed in the open, neither can we. Owners Facebook response to backlash was a slap in the face to all nursing mothers and women.

The owner has publicly shamed breastfeeding mothers. He has compared a mother nursing her child too a topless bar. Sorry but I do not and will not support ignorance! I surely hope no one continues to give their hard earned money to someone who can’t respect a mother nursing her child!

Wow! Todd, the owner compares mothers nursing their babies in his establishment to dancers in a topless bar. Discriminatory and illegal, I wonder which other laws The Frogstone Grill chooses to ignore? Shame on you.

Awesome food awesome atmosphere servers are nice as well they have green eggs and ham for the kids a they have good burgers and gquaqamole their steaks are perfectly made and the little frogs all over the place are really entertaining I come here after a visit to my dentist as its close to dental and medical offices absolutely love this place and recommend to all the people who want good food at great price with great service…

This was the first time I’ve stopped in here.
The menu bar plenty of interesting options, I was leaning toward breakfast, but opted for the burger with apple, aged cheddar and grilled onions on it.
It was unique, hearty and tasty. A little under seasoned for my taste, but a dashing salt resolved that.
Without a doubt one of the better burgers I’ve had.
Great service.

Absolutely Delicious Quesadilla!
With the guacamole made fresh at the table, this dish we shared and it was superb. The steak tips are yummy and the sour cream and salsa were a touch spicy but definitely over the top. Caesar was coated perfectly too!
Home made tortilla chips rounded off this great meal. Two medium eaters can share this

Chicken tacos are to die for! Been there with a group twice lately. Everyone was very satisfied with their meal. Nice drink list too! One of the best places in ridge. Great menu.

Absolutely love this place! The setting, food, are, and servers. All so nice and friendly! I live right by this place and only came here once and this wowed me! Came here with my girl friend and I ordered the picnic basket which had like watermelon, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, basil leaves, and goat cheese with a thin mango yoghurt dressing! It’s so refreshing and so good! Perfect for a hot sunny day! That’s a definite summer salad right there. Also ordered the seafood meltdown open face sandwich! Omg it’s like heaven! This place is a come back place forsure !

Have to say, them Omelette was very good! Will have to drop back again and try some of the other features.

Great place to stop that is very close to the dentist office Great casual place for a drink or to eat luch/​dinner.

service was wonderful, the food was good all around the table, but none if the items stood out as a have-​to-​try-​again. overall a nice family friendly atmosphere and food worth paying for. I can’t wait to go back and try a new dish.

The food here is good, nothing I would rant about though. The food wasn’t really all that memorable, having already forgot what I ate. The tables were too close together though, and I had difficulty getting in and out of my seat. Although I wouldn’t suggest this place myself, I wouldn’t decline if someone invited me.

Wouldn’t normally head into maple ridge, but looked up something while visiting mom in langley and decided the frogstone sounded worth the drive (my first time across the golden ears bridge.)
There was no line up today, though the place was pretty full by the time we left. The restaurant wasn’t fancy, but had some fun and funky frog and southwest themed decorations. We were seated where the food was coming out for servers which made it harder to make our choices cause it all looked so good! We ended up deciding to share the eggs frogstone and the southwestern breakfast burrito. Both lived up to how yummy they looked! Service was pleasant and efficient.
All said, looks like I’ll cross the golden ears bridge again soon!

Drinks good, food good, service friendly and atmosphere good. The menu is not amazing but definitely top of it’s price class.
Had dinner w/​my wife and two kids and everything was great. Had no complaints and staff was very nice and accommodating.
Restaurant almost had a bit of a neighborhood feel to it. Will definitely go back.
