I like it here! It is real small, for sure, but wasn’t busy when we were here(some weekday evening.) They didn’t have anymore small tapioca’s and litchi jelly that night, so I just had the drink without anything. Which was fine. But she offered me a side dish of grass jelly to put into my drink. That was nice :) My friend’s coconut milkshake drink was extremely wayyyy too sweet. Mine was the warm blueberry tea, and it tasted perfect. About $ 7 for both of us. We sat for a long time. I love that Markham bubble tea places close late!

I Have notice that this place is getting less and less busy, every time I go, there is no one there, and than after some people start coming in. My fave here was and still is the deep fried squid balls and honey garlic chicken wings. But i also like their other foods, it is very homemade/authentic Taiwanese food. it lost 1 star cause it really has got worst, the food. It used to be much better, maybe the chef is gone or something? The bubble tea is A OK, nothing special that i would come back for, if it wasnt for the food.

This used to me a great place to go to for me in 2010, but it has drastically changed for the worst. Unlike most people, I come to this place for food, not bubble tea, because it is waaaaay cheaper. For example, a fried porkchop with a side of wedges is only 4.99. My(former) favourites at this place is the aforementioned pork chop dish, and the condensed milk thick toast. However when I returned to the restaurant in 2011 after not going there for awhile, the quality of the food went from average(but good for the price) to horrendous. This place has never been exceptionally busy(at least not when I’ve went), and I fear that with it’s drop in quality it would only speed up it’s process in closing down. I’m actually shocked that it’s lasted this long, ’cause it’s been real quiet there for a loooooonng time!

One of my favourite bubbletea place in the GTA, probably because they have a strawberry-egg flavoured milk tea. It might sound disgusting, but it is not. I’ve been coming to this place since high school, which was a long time ago. It used to be a lot busier on weekend nights, but the last couple of times i’ve been there, it’s been relatively empty… I really hope they don’t close down! Free wifi and great food. You can hang out as much as you want there!

We were cruising around looking for a bubbletea place late on a Saturday night with increasing desperation as we were fast running out of options, when we stumbled upon this little gem located at First Markham Place. Bubbletea places really get insanely busy uptown on the weekend! After rejecting four of the more well-known bubbletea houses for either their typically poor quality or expected long times, we went to two others at which we were told to expect at least a half hour wait each. Finally, we were so lucky to find this little place(bonus for being being seated right away)! Unlike the cavernous and modern-décor Destiny or Go for Tea, this little place was decorated with a theatrical and Victorian feel. With a refreshing intimate atmosphere, dark colours, velvet curtains, pretend-sconces on the wall that look like angry Greek gods, cute couches you’d fine in a grand old home, large painting on the wall — this place is fantastic! The bubbletea prices are are typical; the rose tea with honey that I had was exceptionally fragrant and delicious. I didn’t try out any food there, and the selection looked decent. The tables are a bit small, though I didn’t mind as it allowed for close conversation. The service was a bit off-hand, but prompt. I also hear there’s free wi-fi there. Cute place, not good for groups — a great alternative to the other larger bubbletea places in the area.
