I gotta give credit where it’s due. This place used to be a rip-off, and I know a lot of locals who won’t go back. But the wife and I gave it a second chance and we’re glad that we did. We ordered a couple of their exotic salads, and we found them delicious and unique. I love it when you go into a place that looks like it is going to serve the typical steakhouse fare and find a little surprise like this. The red wine by the glass was similarly surprising. We ordered a few different varietals and weren’t disappointed by any of them. The prime rib, while not the best I’ve ever had, was the best I’ve had in Mission for quite some time. Worth going back for. And the service was excellent. Our server had been there for a number of years and knew her stuff. It has always been a place with great décor and ambience, and now it seems to have a menu and service to match. A good place for a date night.

OK, I’ve been thinking about this, and really didn’t want to post such a negative review. My wife and kids took me here for Fathers Day brunch, as there are few and far between ‘brunches’ these days. The kids were thrilled at the brunch, and kids being kids, they will eat anything they can find, regardless of quality(or food safety). Service was sub-par, with very little personality, almost never drink refills. Overall, not very good, but better than the food. But the food. Oh my goodness, is it even safe to eat? If it wasn’t for the fact that the kids had already bellied up and were chowing down on what was being provided, we would have left. I stuck to the salads, which looked marginally safe though thoroughly wilted. The rest, I could not risk. $ 37.50 for salads, was not the best value I could have gotten for Fathers Day. And other guests that complained had to listen to the staff tell them how it was new management, and they agreed it was horrible, and never used to be like that. Seriously? Even the staff is complaining? I will never return to this establishment.

We came in around 8 pm on a weeknight and it looked empty other than a few people sitting at the bar. We stood by the door trying to get any staff member’s attention to no avail. There were 2 people at the far end who appeared to be chatting and cleaning but nobody came to seat us so we left.

Came on a sat for brunch but it is only on sun so had to order from the lunch menu Had breaded in phylo deep fried shrimp, arrived not in phylo but actually bread crumb coated shrimp, over cooked, mango sauce offered was a mustard sauce in reality Had the«sous vide» chicken breast(cooked in a plastic bag to hold in juices). It had been over seared before it went into the bag so VERY overcooked after it came out of the hot water, so much dried out they had cut it into pieces before it was served and poured some sauce on it to remoisturize Veg were«blackened» and not in a Cajun/creole way, as in «over soaked in soy» and woked at too high a heat till it burned

I think this is Mission’s finest dining establishment. It’s not because we don’t have much to choose from(we don’t), but it’s really quite good. The food is always impeccable, the prices are not too bad, and the décor and service are great. Their dinner for two specials are a good price. We had the prime rib and the steak with garlic mashed potatoes. Portions are just right. They have a nice wine selection and not too overpriced. Their Sunday brunch is fabulous. So many choices, and desserts too!

A fabulous Sunday buffet brunch is offered here! It runs from 10−2pm and arriving early not only ensures you get a quality seat by the window, but you also get the freshest selection. There’s a wide range of both breakfast and lunch options available. Multiple salads, from green to pasta, meat plates, seafood trays, and vegetable platters to start. Your usual breakfast options are available and hot lunch entrees as well. The dessert table consisted of pre-made bars and cakes and big fruit platters to satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth. I would highly recommend here for a special brunch out!
