I love this place! The staff are incredibly welcoming and take amazing pride in their work. I find them always willing to accommodate me, my son and my wife. They go the extra mile and remember what your preferences are from one visit to the next. This is not one of those places that will rush you through or give you a run-of-the-mill haircut. They hire the most talented people and it shows.

ZZ Cuts is OK. I’ve had my hair cut there by 4 different folks, the owner, the owner’s son(Ryan), a lady and a guy who years ago worked by the owner but isn’t there anymore… I’m not even sure if the owner is there much these days. The hair cuts were good. There really wasn’t anything wrong with them, but they were not the best I’ve ever had. I only seem to go back to them when I’m in a pinch as I have another lady who seems a bit better. Sometimes at ZZ Cuts you feel a bit rushed and the cuts feel too ‘mechanical’, you know, do a ‘typical cut’ without putting any creativity into it or offering any real suggestions that might be better than a ‘typical cut’. ZZ Cuts is OK though… I“ve never had a really bad cut there. My kids seem to go there sometimes too. … Maybe I should try another lady there, but I hate it when I call up and ask for something in particular and ask who they’d recommend. like, who’s the best doing men’s hair… and they say any one of them can do it. But you know that’s not always true. Not every one can do it well. Even I can cut hair, but I’ll make a mess. I’ve found most hair cutters are mediocre at best and when I find a good one who can figure out the nuances with my head/hair, then I tend to be loyal and willing to pay. ATZZ Cuts I haven’t found that person yet. I usually try to get Ryan because he’s pretty good and relatively consistent, but there have been a couple of times when later I found one side was a bit thicker than the other. They always tell you to come back and they’ll fix it, but that’s sometimes a bit inconvenient. I’ll be going there again this weekend because ‘my girl’ can’t get me in for two weeks. Maybe I will try a new person. I wonder who they’ll put me with if I ask for their best cutter of male hair?
