During my stay at the Courtyard the staff were very friendly, and the room was very nice. The pool was a little cool not so much warm, other wise very relaxing. The King suite with a jacuzzi feels like you’re at a spa get away. I really enjoyed my stay. Great work Courtyard staff!

I chose this hotel traveling to Toronto because of the price. I had some slight skepticism because it was $ 75CAN. I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and charming. I was hoping they would be a little bit bigger but that was not a huge deal. What really made this a pleasurable experience was the staff. They were always ready to make recommendations for us to eat and for things to do in the area and they always hit. The restaurants that they recommend all would get 4 or 5 stars from me on Unilocal. One thing that could use some improvement is the in-house food. The breakfast was not particularly great and the dinner was just ok. I had bacon and eggs for breakfast and for dinner, wings and pizza. Simply ok. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to the Toronto area.

Last minute booking for a business trip. Hotel was very nice and clean. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable but the sheets made me itch like crazy. Not sure if it was just me or the detergent they use to wash them. My room had a balcony which was an unexpected surprise although the being snowy and cold I was unable to use it. Bathroom was nice and clean. Shower was in good working order and easy to figure out. I find some hotels have ridiculously complicated fixtures in the shower. My only minor complaint about the bathroom was the towels. We are not all little skinny people so bigger towels would be nice. TV channel selection was decent and provided many options. The wifi was great compared to some other hotels. Only a couple small hiccups but barely worth mentioning. Halls were quiet and other guest rooms were quiet which was nice for a change. Some places we can here everyone e talk and walk around which is incredibly annoying. The fro to desk staff were helpful when asked for restruant recommendations and directions around town. Disappointed that breakfast was not included in my stay. But once I realized it was a Starbucks I was not heart broken. Still would of liked to of had a breakfast option of some sort. The pool was clean and well maintained. The temperature was just right. The deck surrounding the pool needs some work. The pea gravel is coming up and sticks to your feet once your are wet. Very uncomfortable to step on. The jacuzzi was unfortunately hotter the lava so I was unable to get in. Did not use the gym but there is one there. Parking was never an issue. My door card open all the doors so there was never a need to go to far to enter or exit the building. Overall my stay was very good and I would definitely stay here when I come back. Aside from the breakfast issue my concerns are fairly petty so I give a 4⁄5.

I think that the overall rating of this hotel is too low. It’s perfectly Courtyard. Very nice room. Quiet, clean and inexpensive. Location is close to the airport and a lot of corporations so it’s great for business travel. My WiFi connection was free and available at full bars both in the lobby and in my room. Good overall experience

Good location for serving the area businesses. Nothing spectacular about this location. The Bistro concept is still causing pain for the staff(as it does at other Courtyard locations). Understaffed, undersized causes backups with the morning rush. Internet is not consistent and could use some work. Staff is friendly and attentive.

This is what you would expect from an older Marriott Courtyard. Everything was fine. It is next to a highway, but room noise was not excessive. Overall I would go back if in town for business.

My real problem with the hotel is the internet connection. It says that they have high-speed internet access. «A web connectioon that’s 50 times faster than dial-up — giving you an unprecedented level of connectivity and productivity.» However, whether I’m trying to download a song from iTunes, a file for work, or a driver from my webcam, I can’t get anything higher than 8 kbs. Considering the first mainstream modems that came out were 14.4 kbs, this is a bit ridiculous. Far away from home? Don’t even try to use skype for video or voice chat as the connection isn’t even close to fast enough to handle it. Want to watch a movie instantly on Netflix through your computer, don’t even think it. The gym is ok, but nothing special. It’s small(smaller than my hotel room). The weight machine feels like it is from 1980(not very smooth at all). However, they do have a nice treadmil(it’s TV doesn’t work, but I don’t watch TV when I run anyways) and an eliptical machine(if that’s more your speed). The rooms are nice, but the tv is old. Maybe I’m a little picky because I’m a consultant and have to stay here 4 nights a week, but a decent internet connection, routine maintenance on the weight machine, and an HDTV would have probably changed my whole attitude about the place and I would have given it a 5.
