My Storage

Stopped in to rent a 10×20 climate controlled unit, better rate than the company we usually rent from.
The staff, Megan was very helpful and quickly ran through our contracts and got us set up with security codes and a tour of the facility.
Not sure what the other reviewer is talking about, so far this place is great.
Great location, friendly staff, best prices we could find, our locker even has a ceiling light with motion sensor and oh — did I mention the free truck?!
That’s right — free use of their moving truck!
We have lockers in 4 different cities and this place just reset the bar for what we look for when renting storage space.

Used this place about 2 years ago. Used to be called All Yellow Storage. Why the change? If it is the same people in charge then stay away. No one seemed to know what they are doing. Customer service is non-​existent there. They tried to scam people. There were plenty of similar feedback to what we went through under the old name. When we left they were in the process of the name change.
First time we walked in, not even a hi or anything, just stared at us. I said we are interested in a space and she replied «right now»? Well yes, since you are still open… She explained she thought it was someone else that had called few times. But how does that even make a difference? A customer walk in for the first time, how do you know who they are?
Anyways, everything was fine until one day we received a call saying we need to pay $$$ because there were fee changes and we were late. We were NEVER notified of any kind of changes. Just prior to that, GF had a conversation with the girl that we always see regarding some fee issues and no mention of anything. She said this to the guy on the phone and he pretty much just brushed her off. Don’t remember exactly what happened but I think the girl was with the guy making the call and when gf asked to speak to her, he refused. Either pay or we lose our stuff. I guess the guy was her boss. If the person who is always at the desk looking after customers do not know what she is doing, why is she there?
So that was about the closest thing to customer service we saw. We got our of there as soon as we could. Better to go with more reputable storages rather than try to save money. Will end up costing more in the end.
