The bouncers at this club are SONICE! Never once have I been rejected, don’t even need an ID. Although, they do show preference towards huge group of guys so make sure there aren’t many girls in your group!!! V laidback, chill vibes, wear sweatpants.

Go for a chill night, love that you can wear whatever you want, boys you’ll get in no issue. If you joke around with the bouncers they’ll let you have a free drink!

I go for the basketball and the bird cage/VIP(?) room. The music CAN be good. French/English balance.

I have not stepped foot in this bar. I have been planning a bar hopping night for my wife’s birthday, one last hurrah before starting a family. We contacted Apt200 via facebook to make a reservation for 10 — 15 people. This is when we were told all casual like it was no big deal that to reserve a table we would have to purchase bottle service at a steep $ 300.00. Even at a upscale club this was a steep price. Obviously this would have blown our evening’s budget disallowing us to partake in the multiple bar hop evening we had planned out. In no way was the bar willing to accommodate our party for cocktails. Even considering we were planning on sticking around for at least an hour. At their $ 15 per drink with 10 people we would have quickly reached their $ 300.00 price point if each of use ordered two beverages. As far as I’m concerned if a bar has to upfront charge you a ridiculous price to reserve a table to patron their bar, they aren’t the bar you should be supporting. Keep searching.

Easily the best place I visited while I visited Montréal. So good, me & my friends were there on Thursday AND Sunday. Cool atmosphere, great music, lots of dancing, and lots of friendly people. Drinks are a little pricy for what you get, but hey– it’s a bar. I’d recommend to everyone visiting and will make it apart of my trip whenever I visit the city again– too many good memories! Apt200 set a great tone for the beginning and end of our trip.

The cover charge, the service, the broken amenities overshadow the awesomeness of this place. We came on a Thursday night, we were asked if we had a reservation, we said no. They said $ 10/person(4 of us in the group). We get upstairs and we are 4 of 10 people in this bar. Reservation?! The style is so cool, the space is huge and open, there are tons of games to play, but most were broken. We ordered some cocktails, they were very well prepared, they took their time with it, but it was like $ 60 for four drinks, which isn’t so bad, but still when your paying the cover it’s dumb. The basketball game didn’t work, the racing game didn’t work, and the servers/bartenders walked around pissed. the pool tables however were really great, the pool cues were in awesome condition, considering. Cool to see, but easy to leave.

Cocktails were pretty good id say, a little on the expensive side but not terrible. The atmosphere is very cool its just like a house with a living room, dining room and kitchen, Its a great idea. What is making me give them 3 stars is the fact we came on a Thursday night, there was a $ 10/person cover and we went in there and it was dead. They made it seems so exclusive and said how we would normally need a reservation and stuff but they were being nice and letting us in. The place was empty. If they didn’t charge us $ 40 total to get in i probably would have stayed longer and bought more drinks but to just walk into a bar and have to drop $ 40 pisses me off. Probably more fun on a Friday or Saturday night with more people, id probably never go back though, there are much cooler spots in Montréal.

I found this place through a top 10 in Montréal list. The pictures looked amazing and in person, the place looks just as incredible. Decorated like a gigantic loft apartment it’s quite impressive visually. That’s sort of where it stops being impressive. 4 of us came here for a cocktail on a Thursday night. There is a doorman that tells us you must have a reservation in order to get in. When we look confused and are about to walk away he tells us that since we are two couples, he will let us in. He makes no mention of the fact that it’s a $ 10 cover which we find out once we get upstairs. Ok, no big deal — we pay the $ 40 to get in only to find the place is empty. Literally 5 people inside besides us. To even state that it’s reservation only when your bar is completely empty is just bizarre. We order drinks, they are between $ 11-$ 15 a piece. The bartender did put care into making them but probably because the place was empty. There is some background music playing but this is by all means a bar, not a club. Especially on a Thursday night. There are several video game machines but all of them are either broken or lacking some part/piece. The basketball game has one basketball in it. The racing games kept spitting my quarter back out. A $ 10 cover and you cannot even maintain the place? There were some really nice pool tables that were free to play. We left after our one drink and decided to always ask before entering about the cover moving forward in Montréal.

Went there for a bachelorette party this past weekend. The bartenders were efficient, fast, and friendly. They gave us a round of free shots, which was nice of them. The DJ played a good mix of old school and modern hip hop. Towards the end of the night, our group was harassed by this tall, drunk man. He grabbed our friend and lifted her skirt, entirely exposing her. I’m posting a photo of the creep so future patrons can avoid this from happening from them. He was eventually kicked out of the club, so kudos to the attentive bouncers.

Enter and head up a flight of stairs. If you think you’re lost, you’re probably in the right place. We went on a weeknight in the winter and coat check was mandatory($ 3). Drinks are priced adequately — neither cheap nor pricey. The name of the place lays out the atmosphere for itself. When you enter, it’s as if you’re in someone’s apartment. They even have a bedroom for effect — at least I hope it’s for effect… You’ve got pool, air hockey and a few arcade games(like PacMan, Shooter games, and basketball hoops). They even had a live band the night we went. I like how laid-back the vibe is. It’s a great place to play pool, listen to music, and just hang out with friends.

Dommage(not)! Ça vaut vraiment la peine d’essayer, si seulement pour les jeux d’arcades!

Stopped by with a few friends on a Sunday night before we headed back to NY the next day. At first I was a little reluctant about coming to this place since I had read certain reviews. We arrived around 9pm, walked up those flight of stairs and found the place to be really spacious. When we arrived there were only around 10 people having some drinks and some on the games. We quickly headed to the bar and there were two of the most friendliest and coolest ladies bar tending, I didn’t catch the name of the girl that looks mixed or Latina but the other one that looks sort of like Megan Fox, her name is Kayla(A total sweetheart). We quickly started to order drinks and yes to open up a tab with a credit card the minimum is $ 30 but I don’t know why that bothers some, you don’t go to a bar to talk and have half a drink either. The music is a mix of old school/new school hip hop, lounge and I can’t really remember what else. The drinks are good, they don’t feel watered down, prices are normal for a bar, some cost $ 8 others $ 15 all depending on what you like. I guess everyone’s experience is different but we never encountered anything like some of the negative reviews say, maybe because it was a Sunday night. The place started to fill up after about an hour or two, everyone was just having a good time, the atmosphere was great, never felt tense. The place itself is nicely decorated, a few arcade games, pool tables and basketball machines, clean, great staff and security and it’s located in a good zone, I have nothing bad to say about this place. The two barmaids took the prize, great friendly and welcoming, we never felt isolated or like they were rude towards us, even though some of us were clearly tipsy, they still maintained their great personalities. Great place to spend a few hours with friends having some drinks and just having a good time.
