What a delightful place to stay while exploring Montréal! My family rented the«condo» upstairs for three days. We had 2 bedrooms, a luxurious bath, a full kitchen, a dining area and a living room. The bus lines were ½ block away so we purchased a three-day pass and saw the sites. Daniel is a charming host and welcomed us warmly(as did Monsieur Petit, their miniature poodle. I am allergic to dogs, but given he is a poodle, like bichons, we folks with allergies have no worries.) Petra gave us a complete tour of our apartment, and then sat down with us for almost an hour explaining the great public transport system, how to get a bus pass, the latest exhibits at the museums, etc. She was a wealth of information and helped us make the most of our time there. Beds were comfortable, everything was decorated nicely, and the rooms were spotless. If ever back in Montréal, we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay at the A La Carte B&B in Montréal. The B&B is not in downtown but it is a short bus/metro ride away from all major attractions. It is also off a main street which hosts many different restaurants, a supermarket, laundromat, bars, and shopping options. Petra and Daniel have a beautiful, clean, well-decorated house that was so cozy and comfortable to stay in. For the value and comfort — this was a great deal and option for anyone visiting Montréal. For those allergic to animals, the owners do have a miniature poodle who likes to run around the house. However, for dog lovers, he is the cutest, friendliest dog you will ever meet. Highly recommended.
