OK, enough Military and Political commentary for a short bit. On to… Art Glass!
Back in April, I was on the VIA Rail Canadian train from Edmonton to Vancouver. In between amazing Canadian Rocky Mountain scenery, interesting conversation for folks from all over the world, great food and a comfy upper bunk berth, I was reading a VIA magazine article that featured Annie’s work. She makes a variety of things including candle holders, decanters, paperweights, vases and hearts from her Montréal studiio.
I was particularly attracted to a glass mortar and pestle piece which I promptly ordered when I returned home. And what I received was better than expected!
