Café des Arts has the best paninis I’ve ever tasted – possibly due to the fresh, high quality ingredients. My favorite was the salami and cheese. The very laid back, relaxing atmosphere allows you to escape the crowds, gives the kids a no-pressure place to have lunch or drinks, all while enjoying a decent half-pitcher of sangria. With space abound, this place is very kid friendly. A bonus is that you can pick up unique souvenirs at Café des Arts or in any of the shops in Marche Bonsecours, where the café is located. You won’t be disappointed if you are looking for a quick bite, coffee/pastry or just need a place to chill.

Nice little café located at the far north end Marché Bonsecours. It’s a relaxing place to come sip some coffee, have a pastry, grab a magazine and relax. The iced mochas were a tad small for $ 4 but the dark chocolate tart was awesome. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely come here again.

This place is cuuuute! Located on lower level of the galleries, with mismatched couches and chairs, hot tea choices and delicious panini, that warmed up my heart and soul on cold winter day. Phone — recharged; messages — answered over free wifi(plus, with t-mobile free wifi calls feature it is a lifesaver when traveling); me — warmed up, fed and happy. Sit back and relax — once you place your order, they bring it to your table. Service can be a bit slow when large group comes in, but hey, no rush. Tea comes in a big pot — pour at your leisure, and panini is perfectly pressed to golden color with melted cheese and all other goodness. …Mmmmmm, hello, 3rd pot of hot tea!..

A wonderful oasis of free functional Wi-Fi in Vieux Montréal. The boyfriend and I stopped here to rest after schlepping around in the heat. The iced coffee I received was pretty good — it was what I was expecting in terms of being loaded with sugar and milk. The boyfriend did not like his iced tea but I gladly finished it for him since I have a sweet tooth. Overall, a pleasant little respite when touring one of the most crowded areas of the city.

Cozy wifi zone with good coffee. Brewed coffee 1.75 dollar. They sell tons of art crafts which are very expensive

Most overpriced canned tomato soup and two bite green salad I’ve ever had – came to $ 19 with drip coffee. Complete waste of time even for the tourist trap that is Old Montréal. Coffee was extremely weak as well – you could see the bottom of the cup.

This darling little café is located at the far end of the Marché Bonsecours shopping center. There are plenty of places to sit and they offer free wifi! The code is posted on the blackboard under the register. The staff are a group of very friendly ladies that are not only welcoming but quite beautiful. The space is open but thoughtful with windows facing the old port. They have small coffee shop bites and all the traditional coffee variations. I ordered the Maple Latte and it was lovely. I ordered it and was directed to take a seat and they would bring it to me, It has a museum coffee shop feel, but cuter. If I wasn’t just a tourist, I would make this a regular caffeine fueling station!
