I heard about this sweet spot from a lad in the neighbourhood and immediately passed by to check it out and grab a coffee since I’m rarely in that part of town. Friendly staff, delicious coffee, and warm atmosphere. They had three muffins maison which looked nice but I unfortunately had no appetite so didn’t indulge. The lunch and brunch menu looked delicious so I’ll have to pass by another time.

Stumbled upon this sweet gastro café in Rosemont. Vibe is mellow grunge, with warm Montréal kitsch décor. The espresso I’m currently sipping is appropriately hot and bracingly bitter – a solid shot. The menu features grilled cheese and burgers, though there’s a «weekend» menu (which looks thoughtful and fun) clearly aimed at Montréal’s soft spot for brunch. I can’t speak for the food, but if it’s as good as the coffee and the ambiance, this place deserves the coveted fifth star that I can’t give it without first having a bite here.
