Awesome Québécois store for women’s work wear! This Jacob is really large — three stories — definitely one of the largest(if not the largest) in the area. When I was there, they were having a 40% off everything sale(except the new collection). I love the style at Jacob — most of it is work attire: trousers, jackets, blouses, dresses, etc. They also have more casual pieces. To me, it reminds me of the best workwear from Zara and H&M, as it has that«European» look and feel to it — clean, simple, sophisticated, great materials. It also reminds me of Ann Taylor, but again with more of a European flair to it than an American one. When I was there, there were a lot of blacks, greys, beiges, whites, purples, and dark blues. Also, this place has gorgeous dresses! Perfect for a cocktail party, garden party, or work. Looking at them made me wish that I was a dress person… they were positively salivating. Very classy, sophisticated, and sexy at the same time. Thinking about it, maybe I should have become a dress person while I was there and picked a few up… When we were there on a Monday morning, the place was quiet, with a couple other patrons. The attendants were really nice. In the end, my sister got an adorable pair of seersucker shorts(matching jacket available, if desired) and a silky beige blazer(matching cropped trousers available — which I wanted, but they were wiped out of my size. The attendant said they were one of the most popular items in the store at the moment.) This is definitely my favorite brand to visit when I’m in Quebec!
