Nice owner, very clean store, small but pretty selection of vintage Jewelry and accessories and new clothes

KnS is a great little store if you’re into vintage, animal skulls and/​or taxidermy. I absolutely love seeing what unique items she has, it’s on my list of things to do every time I’m in Montréal.

If you love ornithological taxidermy, cheeky pin-​up couture, and cat-​eye sunglasses so sharp that they could cut diamonds, Kitsch ‘n Swell is the place for you.
It was fate that brought me here, I swear, and led me straight to a gorgeous emerald, cerulean and gold peacock printed dress. It flares and sparkles and fits like a 50s curvy dream. Loved that the staff are so laid-​back and helpful, and let me browse this trove of interesting things endlessly.
Wish I could have returned to snag a gorgeous vintage-​inspired sweater with a fan print, the leopard swing skirt, and a flirty black tulle petticoat. If you like funky, ecclectic and cute, give K’nS a go and find something that piques your curiosity.

Pin up girl playing cards, cowboy boots, leather jackets, Hawaiian Steins, Michael Jackson tape recorders. I just stepped back in time and place. I’m sitting in my grandparents rec room. The only thing that’s missing is a bowl of borscht and a country music crackling on an old transistor radio.
If you’re in the market for something circa 1940s — 1970’s you’ll likely find it here. And if you’re just yearning to gawk at wall mounted antlers or to try on a cowboy’s tie, I have a feeling the laid back staff won’t mind at all.
