This place is SO cool. I’ve come across whisky bars and vodka bars but never have I ever been to a champagne bar! I didn’t even know places like this existed! Because we don’t have anything like this in toronto, if I was going to drink here, I wanted to do it right. We ordered their Wednesday champagne special which was $ 130 bottle for only $ 80 which seemed like a pretty good deal. What made this place even more cool was that I got to saber the champagne bottle and put the top piece into their glass wall of sabered champagne bottle tops. I’ve never sabered a champagne bottle before so this was a very neat experience. I would definitely come back again and would 110% recommend this place to all my friends! It would be a great date spot too :)

Would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. The food was wonderful, the bubbly selection is incredible. We had bottles and got to saber them! The best. The service was AMAZING. Sat at the bar and Antoine took care of us the entire night. He could not have been better! The ambiance is great, very cute, love the exposed brick and all the artwork. R&B jams in the background kept us going all night! We could not have had a better experience– will definitely recommend Le Champagnerie to friends.

We came here via Unilocal when we were looking for somewhere in Montréal to get champagne after our engagement earlier in the day. Their champagne menu was impressive and had prices that fit any budget, large or small. Ours fell somewhere in the middle so we went with a bottle that sounded pretty good. The waitress allowed us to sabre the bottle towards the front of the bar, pretty cool first time experience. We didn’t necessarily come here to eat dinner but we researched the menu ahead of time and figured that we would eat something while we enjoyed our champagne. We were slightly disappointed to find out from the waitress that there was only a «special» menu available to order from. The selections didn’t see that great so we passed on that. Overall the service was really good but the lack of having the full food menu to order from kept me from giving them a 5 star rating.

My girlfriend and I were referred to Champagnerie by a friend who lives in Canada and we visited around 6:00PM on a Saturday night. We could see that it was getting crowded, but got seats at the bar where we were promptly greeted by Antoine who spoke perfect English. He was so warm and welcoming and gave us a history lesson on the champagne making process and about the various characteristics of the champagne being served by the glass that night. We had a few tastes first and decided on two different champagnes. Both were just perfect to our tastes. The .enu had so many great choices and Antoine decried them to us. I decided on the car binary labeled as lemon spaghetti with little bits of duck breast. It was spectacular. My girlfriend had the lobster tacos and she us not a big lobster fan, but could not get enough of them. We also met Simon with whom Antoine worked with in the past and he, too was just a great guy to talk with. Everyone was warm and helpful and this made our trip a true«Experience.» We would highly recommend the Champagnerie and be sure to ask for Antoine as he will serve you well!

Just a review based on being there last night for a friend’s birthday celebration. Lovely view of the Bonsecours market from the big front windows, valet parking, a cozy fancy red brick feeling inside punctuated by the occasional ceremonial lowering of the burlap, saber-wielding lesson, and the sound of bottles popping, people cheering. The music is fun, singalongable funky oldies, not trying too hard to be cool, and the crowd is a nice mix of ages all seeming joyful which is fun to be around. My friend arranged for some delicious meat and fig and cheese plates for us and I don’t know what those cost but they sure were tasty. The champagne cocktail I ordered was $ 15 and good, but maybe not quite that good.

My best friend brought me here to celebrate my birthday on a Wednesday evening — the ambiance was great, we were seated immediately sans reservation and the bubbles were ½ price! The staff was super helpful — our bus-boy brought over 2 different champagnes he thought we might like and poured us generous«samples» of each to try! Our waitress was equally pleasant and attentive. The food was DELICIOUS. Our only mistake was ordering the small charcuterie plate to share — get the bigger one, the cured meats, pickles and mustard are so delicious that you’ll want more of them. I had the Shepard’s pie for dinner and it was amazing — strips of bavette in a cheese and potato sauce… small but so rich that it was perfectly sized… and reasonably priced! I ordered the ice cream sandwich for dessert — it was huge! That item is definitely best shared… it was so delicious that I still managed to eat most of it though. I will certainly go back for 5a7 or quick dinner bites!

Quand on me dit bar à Champagne, je pense glamour, romance, etc… Non!
Do you love champagne? Well this is obviously this place is for you. We sprung for the bubbly cocktails and were just so pleased with our decision. I fell in love with the bittersweet Salty PamPam and also thoroughly enjoyed the fresh tasting Saratoga 343. We split perfect oysters with tasty shooter sauces and a bountiful cheese plate. If you’re feeling really snacky, definitely go for the warm roasted nuts.
