as a teen, i used to frequent this park a lot because of its tennis courts. it was the closest park to home that had such thing and tennis was a big thing in my past. while i wasn’t a professional player nor an even an amateur, me, my cousins and a couple of friends, we would have some crazy fun late evenings with all the mosquitos and what not. what i loved about the park besides the tennis courts are the grocery store literally next door and the dairy queen nearby. back then, the artisanal ice cream shops weren’t that big of a deal and let’s face it, when you’re young, growing up in the 90s, dairy queen and to some extent mcdonalds were all you wanted. it was like showing off. the park is still a decent lively place as it is being a neighborhood park with more physical activities centric than other parks nearby. its worth considering if you’re in the neighborhood
