Parc Molson

i LOVE parc molson!
its like a smaller parc laurier but without a pool. similar to parc père-​marquette, the park is spread on the 2 sides of iberville (or if you will, iberville cuts the park in 2). on one side, you can find a kids playground while the other side, you can find a gazebo (if i remember right) as i actually never ventured to the kids playground.
nonetheless, the park is a great place to get away from very busy beaubien street where one can lay down to read a book, tan, nap. picnics do happen too with a bakery nearby as well as some dépanneurs where you could grab wine and beer. there’s an ice cream shop nearby and plenty of cafés and the likes.
during summer, events (like movie night) as well as celebrations take place which makes it a really cool hangout place.
its one of the gems of rose-​patrie and definitely the hangout meeting point of the neighborhood.
and almost forgot, there’s a skating rink during winter by the gazebo

Peut-​être que je suis influencée par le fait que j’ai vécu à 2 coins de rue pendant 8 ans, mais depuis que je suis déménagée près du par Jarry, je m’ennuie tellement de ce parc. Pourquoi? Parce que l’été ses gros arbres feuillus, les quelques tables à piqué-​nique, la verdure partout en font un spot idéal, pas trop crowdé pour aller chiller au soleil ou à l’ombré en tranquilité. Et l’hiver, encore mieux! Certainement une des plus charmantes petites patinoires qui soit à Montréal disposée en sentiers et autour du gazebo. Il n’y a pas de location de patins, et c’est moins fréquenté que les patinoires classiques. À découvrir, vous tomberez sous le charme!
